Given the "blood in the water" nature of some posters towards you, I would have left that off the post. Makes me think that sometimes you are just intentionally trying to rile them up.

And, for those of you that fall into the "them" category in my statement above, please don't take the bait.

Always

That was Hunter. Darick was a beast.

He had six 100-yard games in 2011. These games were against Montana, Cincinnati, Buffalo, MTSU, Arkansas, and Vanderbilt. Other than Arkansas, there's not a lot of quality there.

I would concede, however, that UT team wasn't very good so maybe expecting a WR to shine against UA, UGA, UF, and LSU is too much to ask.

Folks better be holding them accountable for information/facts as to how this gets wrapped up and players are cleared to play.. this is a criminal investigation ... so you can commit fraud on the University you attend and receive benefits from and it all is forgiven in roughly 3 weeks? SMDH....

Would not even know about it if you would not quote him.

He was the only option we had that year and he led the SEC in receptions.

Hunter's SEC stats were not good IIRC.

Jimmy Hyams said yesterday that he would be shocked if many or any of them played because the players eligibility was at question and if it was later determined that they had impermissible benefits that any games in which they participated would have to be forfeited.

They won't. Two years ago we were being compared to Baylor by the media when Butch was kicking players off the team. It was all about how Butch didn't have his team under control and all that mess. In spite of the fact that most of the incidents proved to be untrue iirc. But Mac is being praised by the media as running a tough program. They'll never say anything about it. It's ridiculous.

Just one man's understanding but it didn't seem to me to be an eligibility issue. No payments from boosters or anything like that. They received legal (by NCAA terms) money (on a debit card not eligible for Atm withdrawal) from the school, spent that money on electronics from the school bookstore where those debit cards can be used, then resold the electronics for cash. Nothing about that got them in trouble. They then reported their cards as stolen and that those purchases were not made by the cardholder and got new cards/refunds.

In these cases normally doesn't the NCAA accept a game suspension and to pay back the amount that was stolen?

The line is made from unbiased info.

Team 1: respectable highly thought of maybe overrated defense with bad offesne.

Team 2: respectable offense with unproven QB with bad D.

I always choose the team that can play defense. I will be betting the gators and hoping my bank account is less healthy coming Saturday night.

Or, you could, you know, just not make a bet

Two take ways from listening to that.

1) I had been worried about a taylor losing the edge with what I thought was wild play against Indiana State. Shoop said they didn't respect the speed of the offesne and setting edge wasn't part of the game plan so that makes me feel much better about that.

2) the part about 35 playing MLB in 4-2-5 didn't sound all that likely to me. He didn't convince me that is going to happen and he even brought up the word politics.
