Would be nice short term, but I think recruiting deficiencies would catch up. He may be the better coach, but Jones seems to be the better recruiter.

I could see that and I agree with that last part. To me, it's hard to take a coach who's pissed the east away the last two years over the one who's won it with a worse team.

Bottom of screen on espn saying David Johnson of Cardinals has dislocated wrist. If he decides on surgery he will be out 8 weeks.

JJ out 12 though?

Pretty confident our game is going to be played in the Swamp. Multiple sites were inquired about as a backup plan. Auburn shot the idea down. Mercedez Benz dome and Texans stadium were backup plans as far as I know.

Stricklin was quoted as saying that Auburn agreed to help but after internal discussions, they didn't think it would work. They may very well be able to clean up things in a couple of days, but there are pictures in Gainesville that show some extensive flooding and downed trees.

You're right. He's proven to be a better coach over the last two years. Ask me today and I'll take Donkey.

He hasn't proven to be better lol. He inherited a top 10 defense in the country. The supposedly Offensive guru has regressed their offense since Muschamp! Imagine if our defense regressed from 2012 to 2015🤔
He's gotten lucky the last 2 seasons just like Mizzou did when they first joined the league. Oh and how about that 38 unanswered points, completely 100% out coached by Butch that game. It's year 3 and the guy who said "I could win with my dog at QB" still hasn't found a decent QB. Dooley could take over Bama right now and lead them to a 10+ win season, does that make him better than Butch?!

None of the above IMO. Had Butch taken over the same situation at LSU as Miles did do you think he would have won two conference titles and a national?

He inherited a well-stocked, Saban led, national championship team, and Saban had not yet built his juggernaught at Bama. I think Butch could match Les in that situation.

You want to take a no offense, unemployed coach in Less Miles over Butch Jones!

Lol, have a nice life.

Buddy, take it easy. It's alright that we disagree. Has Butch proven that he can have more success than Les Miles did? People on here acting like Les is/was a scrub are crazy IMO. He did win a national title and would have had two had Alabama not gotten in that title game in 11.

He was Larry Coker. Are you arguing otherwise?

Thread in FF. Someone said a UF booster called him and said it was going to be announced tomorrow that we play UF in Atlanta.

That's the only thing we agree on..

Much rather have Butch than LesS Miles.

He could have. What has Butch done here besides recruit on an elite level, as did Les, to make you think that though? I'd like to think Butch could have but he just hasn't proven to this point that he's on that level.

Auburn's crew and staff would help at either site. Not using their venue

I do like how gruden is constantly saying kamara is from Tennessee though

He had an interview with one of the players, I believe from the saints, didn't see who he was. Apparently he is from Knoxville but didn't go to TN. Gruden said, "I'm still mad you didn't go to Tennessee" lol. He's a VFL
