If Bituli doesn't start over Jumper at Mike backer this Saturday it's insanity.

He can't line the Defense up. Only two guys since AJ Johnson have been able to line a defense up. That's the worst coaching I've ever heard of at the LB position. And the head coach accepting that is as much at fault. IMO

I think most here had this as an 8 win team before the season started given everything we lost and our inexperience. Somehow that seemed reasonable last Sunday night to many people on the board.

Now that we are 2-0 headed into Florida week, I guess 8 wins ain't good enough.

I had us 8-4 going into the season personally even though we had 10 win talent. Especially on our side of the division. Had us 8-4 because of what I've seen from the coaches the previous 4 years.

We punted early from a bad check into a running play on 3rd and 4-5. Us punting against a name your score team is hilarious. The second half we started off like garbage on offense turning the all over and all. Should've dropped 70 on that team. And it shouldn't have been hard. WR screens would've went for TDs Saturday.

I want to see Tennessee start physically overwhelming people again. Get out there and make people quit, as Saban says.

I still question this. DK supposedly couldn't line a defense up either, but then all of a sudden after Jumper has another awful game he's starting?! Did DK suddenly learn it in one week?

And if this is the case, stick TK back at Starting Safety and let him help line them up. I'm sure he's capable of doing it and other teams have used their safety also.

If that really is true it's nothing short of ridiculous.

I still can't get someone, even Butch's biggest fans, to say that when he was hired 5 seasons of 5-7, 6-6, 8-4, 8-4, 8-4 would have been acceptable. If we don't win the East this year it is obvious we never will with him. Georgia's not going anywhere, South Carolina is going to be a serious problem and Florida won't deal with an underperforming coach.

I would rather see shoop be out of control with blitzes than what I have seen this far. Send the damn house man! Let's see the boys play, not react. If you are reactive instead of proactive in defensive football, you have already lost the game.

If jumper is "lining the defense up" then please tell him to stop lining us up to give up record yards. He's slow and he's lining us up to play terrible is what that argument says...

I am trying to figure out how all the complaining a criticizing helps. We have a stable of running backs. The early signs with the O line are positive. McKenzie was getting more push Saturday than people are letting on. Our Freshman RB housed a kick-off. Two passes were blocked. Their QB was stripped. Bituli and Callaway are showing out and the remaining stable of new WRs are getting worked in. QD has been consistent and smart. The team plays with no quit, against a team that has beaten UGA the last two years.

Sure we'll see what we got against UF Saturday. You know it's kind of why you play the game. Ain't nobody going to be fired between now and then. I for one don't think Shoop's blitzes and stunts have been struck from the play-book. Those that think we are the same D as last year haven't even given this D a chance. Glad the D-line is healthy going into conference play.

Come at me downers! Not saying I'll reply.

Call me crazy but after watching the game replay on TV I'm actually excited about this defense. Would've liked to see some turnovers and some of the young guys get in there earlier but I liked what I saw coming off a short week playing a "meh" opponent.

I just rewatched the first half and I feel better but I'm still mad we didn't get the young guys on D lots of playing time.

We have some talent on this team for sure. I think the offense can be good with either QB. The more playing time they get, the more the OL gels and WR gain experience the better we will be. Sometimes a play will look like a mess but its just st bc one OL missed his assignment, or the TE didn't get to his block quick enough. Anyway I'm confident in the O. We still don't run enough slants and use the middle of the field enough but I think CLS is still developing the O.

On D we look great in spots and we have some talent but we have some deficiencies I hope we can get corrected. I don't think some of our guys were exactly going all out this game lol. Our S outside of Warrior don't get off blocks and attack like they should. They let everything come to them. Warrior wasn't in the mix for most of the game bc we played cover one. 8 is awful and wants nothing to do with taking on blocks or tackling. Coach Warren need to let these guys know if the want to play soft the will be riding the pine.

We are gonna miss Barnett. I see talent at DE but not that non-stop motor that DB has.

Speaking of DE, I must be behind the times. When did outside contain stop being the DE job?

I thought the game was really solid Saturday. I looked good, lots of young guys played.

Didn't like the TOs by Dormandy but assuming he wasn't mentally 100% checked in at that point.

JG had a rough game but you can see the talent and glad he got some time to see that this whole playing thing isnt as easy as it looks.

D totally dominated IMO only came from TO.

Y'all act like if a team isn't good we should have a 700 yd to 0 yd performance. We play vanilla, we play young guys, our older guys aren't 100% in to it and we still win 45-7.

Look at other teams playing these meaningless games, it can be a lot worse.

Huge game Saturday that will answer so many questions! Pumped!!

How many good teams do we beat playing like that upfront in both sides of the ball?

I expected and wanted to see domination.
Game plan has nothing to do with whupping ass up front. That is a for sure place Where we dominate vs the Indiana states of the world
We did better up front than I thought at first. OL missed some assignments but it wasn't because they were getting physically dominated. TE blocking needs to get better. DL looked good. The scheme they played didn't allow our DTs to make plays at all.
