Recruiting Forum Football Talk XXXVI

We know there are plenty of things being said tweeted about the status of the Tennessee-Florida game on Saturday.

In the last hour, I have spoken with multiple Tennessee officials and they tell me that everything is wait and see right now as Hurricane Irma makes landfall.

The University of Florida is closed tomorrow and the focus by Florida officials is on safety and not football.

We have heard the Atlanta chatter. There is a soccer game Saturday at the Mercedes Benz Stadium. We have heard some rumors that Friday night in Atlanta might be a possibility. But those are rumors.

UT officials tells us as of 2pm, everything is in a wait and see mode.

No, I got it. You don't like this coaching staff and don't see them doing anything well.

Well yeah the staff is bad, that's not even debatable but the context is that in a game vs Ohio state in Ohio state, Freshman were all over the field making plays.

I don't think Mercedes Benz is a viable option. Listening to the Falcon's president during the pregame on the radio and he says the stadium's staff is already working overtime with two soccer games this week and Falcon's home opener Sunday night. They won't move the soccer game for us. It would have to be Friday night if at all. I think Turner Field is a more viable option.

>Looked garbage on Defense
>Gave up 215 total yards, 7 points-- which only happened because of a turnover--, and 0-11 on 3rd down

Choose one and only one event that happened this Saturday.

Garbage is strong but I don't believe we looked very good either.

Well, you heard it here first folks. Close the press. Shut down the operation. There are no arguments to be made against our staff sucking.

We have two other QBs coming in, if he leaves he leaves. Just so many vol fans have all their eggs in his basket for no reason. I've said all along he has little to no touch on the all and he isn't as fast as everyone was hoping.

Qd reminds me of Ainge a lot. I think he's really patient with his progressions and is sometimes taking the easy route instead of testing a 1on1 situation but I think that Is what we need. Ball control will help our defense a lot.

Is this team good enough up front do really do anything this year in your opinion? And by anything I mean win more than 8.
