Eh I was down on BB preseason over his QD talk, but he hasn't really been wrong so far.


Both QD and JG look like they'll do things that will lose games for us at this point.

I think he has a legit argument. If he's healthy, they better strongly consider getting him ready for Saturday, because Martin isn't cut out for playing CB in this league. Way too soft.

I'm just not confident going into that Florida game at all. We don't appear to even be average up front on either side of the ball and Dormady will be the QB. We'll have to continue to be excellent on special teams and run the ball with Kelly and Chandler very well to have a chance IMO.

JG ain't even accurate within 15 yds is problem. He has no touch on mid range passes. Both QBs have issues.

On side note. Chaney out here saying new QB prob should run the ball more ....... naw let's throw the ball

both of our QB's are average... crazy how other kids with similar rankings can come in and look more polished. QD is in year 3. JG is year 2. Neither have had meaningful snaps until now, but the college system/coaching/etc..you would hope they are farther along. Not getting a warm and fuzzy... 7-5
Can you imagine QD staring down our WRs like he has been, against AL and LSU D's?

But if you can throw a nice deep ball AND run, defenses have to make some tough choices at times.

If you can't throw deep OR run, all teams have to do is defend 15 yards and not worry as much about the top getting taken off of the defense.

I think its a combo of that and i do think he had a hip injury that slowed down his grasp of the defense. I think he gets up to speed this week and starts Saturday. Cbj will put the best players out there for florida.

I hope he plays and balls out. I want to see some aggressive CB play like we saw out of Warrens UNC CBs.

I still respect his opinion. He just wants a QB that can run better, and I get that, especially in today's college football. However, QD has played really good in his first two starts. If you listened to BB, you would have thought we just brought him up from pop warner.

It's amazing how many of us are just happy to blow out the Indiana states but then be upset when we see a breakdown of the teams we have beat and lost to.
Winning doesn't cover up wall the problems, yall can choose to look at it like that but at this pace, teams with even talent will do to us what they've been doing...
Why the hell shouldn't we have been up more?

Indiana state should have been outmatched up front at every position both sides of the ball... SHOULD HAVE BEEN...

Florida CBs will jump short routes. Duke Dawson overrated but he pick 6s short routes like hitches and outs.

Not disagreeing with the mistakes part. But QD is obviously in better command of the offense than JG. Throws a decent ball with decent accuracy. Is improving with the staring down issue. Relapsed on the redzone pick.
