Jeff George (not our WR) had a phenomenal arm. Doesn't matter without the mental recognition component. The best QB's in NFL history have that factor.

Who knows if JG does? Haven't seen him enough yet. He may light guys up when it matters like Dobbs did. Who knows?

Bass your backup syndrome is really bad right now. You should probably get that checked out

From hasn't even passed for 100 yards vs a P5 team yet.... But he's the best QB in the SEC and Uga about to go 15-0 and Fromm is the second coming of Peyton and gonna win 3 Hiesmans and gonna on to be a 10 time Super Bowl MVP.

I just feel like Dormady has a better control and grasp of the offense right now. That's not to say later in the year JG won't be ready but through two games QD is my guy

You seem to be banking a lot on arm strength...or overinflation of such. And Dobbs would fumble and/or throw critical interceptions on you...see last year's A&M game.

They are going back to the playoffs and may win back to back nattys. Clemson defense is nasty and their offense is athletic. Young QB running and taking shots. Doesn't need to have the playbook mastered like Watson to be effective.

He's got issues. But he's playing with confidence, stepping into throws even with pressure, etc...our qbs don't look like that.

Anyone else believe we left the starters in way too long, and lost yet another opportunity to build depth?

That wasn't the point with Dobbs. The point was, he was a gamer. See his performance against Carolina in 2014, Florida last year, GA the last two years, he had great performances like that. He's underrated here. But JG has elite arm talent for sure, made some good throws that should have been caught, and looked good scrambling. He did look rattled early, but so did Dormady in the first half of GA tech

I thought his TD pass to Callaway last week from the left hash all the way to the right corner of the end zone was a pretty good indicator.

That was a nice throw, no doubt. No others have really jumped out

But he hasn't done a good job of hitting guys in stride.

Dormady overthrew Palmer twice on what should of been TD's on both plays.
Can't do that in SEC play

His INT was bad too. Can't stare down a WR like that, even against an opponent like ISU.

I'm bothered because throwing the ball is supposed to be his strength. He's not doing it well outside of the short throws. And once he calls a play he goes either to the primary or the check down. Doesn't read the coverage and say WR 2 or 3 is open. That bothers me from a junior who's a pocket guy and is supposed to know the offense like the back of his hand. If we've got to wait on a QB to develop then develop the one with the most potential. And it's clear who has the most.
