For a guy who compares football to chess a lot, he sure does seem like a checkers player.

Been hearing about depth issues for 5 years. One way to fix those issues is to actually let the backups see the field. Prime opportunity against these high school kids and they still refuse to do it. Makes no sense.

Or talk about the grind and how tough it is on their bodies when he played the starters 70 snaps in a game against Indiana St

How are our young guys going to be ready when they're needed this season if we don't let them play? They should've been playing throughout the game. I just don't get it. Our DL and Lb's played over 90 snaps on Monday! Get them some rest and the young guys some experience! This is maddening

I'd like to see us put in all backup DL for the rest of the game. I don't care if they score 2 TD's in the 4th quarter just to get more experience and rest to the starters.

Ignont should've been out there from the 2nd defensive drive of this half. Same with Butler and Deandre Johnson.

We've gotta get those depth guys some snaps.

I think he's scared to death to let guys make mistakes. That's part of the maturation process. Get these kids in there and let them get experience. If they cant develop depth we're not going to make it through this season.
