That’s not what you said. You said there are better games on and you might not even watch. It seems like a telling statement the way it was originally posted.

Hopefully it’s a blowout and we can all flip back and forth in the second half.

I’m not the fan police. He’s recording it to watch later. I just thought it was telling that’d you’d choose not to watch, quoting a post about Butch not embarrassing a buddy. That’s all. Any feelings you may be having about true fanhood are your own.

I will agree with this. I don’t believe there was one negative thing in your game review, even though there’s plenty of room for concern.

Here's my thing. It's so depressing to play such an outclassed opponent and put our 2nd string QB in after the half to just hand the ball off. Against an opponent like this, CBJ should start with QD in the 1st Q and JG in the 2nd quarter & repeat the order in the 2nd half. Let's see what JG can do. QD will still have the opportunity to get his timing, etc. down playing a half of football but just splitting it up like that.

There are better games on imo, and I might not watch, or I might just flip back and forth. There's not the inconsistency you're implying in my posts. Nor is it "telling"

There is a huge inconsistency between Butch won’t embarrass a friend, I might not even watch because better games are on, and we have Arkansas friends we’re watching the game with so we’ll flip back and forth. Stick with your guns. There’s no need to backtrack on my account.

It’s no skin off my back either way, just said your first post was telling, which to me it was.

I didn't post anything about Butch not embarrassing his friends, another poster made that comment. You're reaching. I might not watch, or I might flip back and forth - haven't made up my mind yet. Do you need a message board commitment from me now? This is a lot of pressure

My daughter has a soccer game and then the missus wants to go hiking. I watched a lot of foosball last week so I will probably DVR this one and watch it later. Spend some family time when I can.

I'm with you. MUCH more valuable imo for JG to get "meaningful" early reps. If QD looks good first two drives, I put JG in for the third.

Butch need to come out fast and dominate from the beginning. treat it like we did Tennessee Tech last year. Throw deep early, feed Kelly, put this game away so that our starters can get much needed rest, especially the defense, after that game Monday night. Our defense can't afford for this to be a tight game like Ohio or North Texas. We need to put them away early and let the young guys play. That gives our starters rest and gets our young guys much needed experience. Ignont needs playing time as does Chandler and Jordan. Need Palmer and Murphy to play a lot as well as Butler and other DL who are not red-shirting. don't fool around Butch.

Indiana State is not a good football team. I don't believe we deliberately try to run up the score, but I expect JG to play significant minutes, along with talented freshman running backs. I expect the Vols to score at least 50 and to hold ISU to 10 or less. A lot of talented young players will be on the field. I would not expect Tuttle to be in more than about 5 plays, if that.

You quoted the post about Butch and agreed by posting: 'this' I might not even watch. Remember? And then looked for support from someone DVR-ing the game?

I've never seen anyone squirm so much to stand behind a post they made.
