I certainly don't think they will change to options.
I think those staffs that both throw and run the football are salivating to get after this defense. That kid last night can't even pass the ball but was completing critical passes. Wait until the real passers go after this defense..
The game last night also reminds me of 2015 when we opened with Bowling Green and their QB threw for over 400 yards and they scored 30 points on us. The following week we had Baker Mayfield and Oklahoma coming to town and everyone was fearing he would throw for a thousands yards against us.
Guess what happened? The Oklahoma/Tennessee game in Knoxville was a defensive slugfest for 4 quarters and Oklahoma needed double OT to match the scoring output of Bowling Green.
You can never read too much into first games of a season. Typically the entire season doesn't turn out how we think it will after watching one game.
