Not his job. That's for governors, mayors, FEMA and National Guard. Let's not pretend that any president should ever have to do that. The Prez should keep a finger on the pulse and make assistance readily available.

I heard something along the lines of him opening it to be used as a distribution center. Could be wrong. Boy, talk about bad optics if Joel sits this one out.

My bad if I I'm accusing Joel of indifference. I lived through the television evangelist scandals. I find his stuff lacking in substance. Here's hoping he's the real deal.

I can't believe the optics on that one. If I had no morals like Osteen, I would have still opened the church to everyone and then I would have made sure everyone knew how many Houstonians I saved (no pun intended). I would have seen it as a great marketing opportunity as in spending money to make money. He should fire his marketing department. Oh well, hopefully this is the end of that pumpkin pie-faced huckster.

I really don't understand why people don't see this sleeze ball for what he is, a thief. He takes money and talks about Jesus, but he's a just a common thief.

If I remember right, I think his wife caused a huge stink on a Continental flight a few years back. Didn't get arrested but I think did get removed from the flight. Way to represent. But everybody has a bad day.
