I enjoyed all the individual shows, so I expect great things from "The Defenders". Scott Glen is the perfect actor to play Stick.

That itself was bad enough, but then that was used as a launching pad to completely pan the show, and then act like the former had nothing to do with it.

I won't completely defend the show because Finn Jones isn't great. They should have cast someone who was better at martial arts. Charlie Cox to my knowledge isn't some amatuer martial arts king and he seems to be able to pull it off realistically enough (when it's him and not his stunt double). And his acting can be weak.

But my problem is Luke Cage was praised and it had many of the exact same problems IF had yet people gave it a pass and praised it. Mike Colter did a better acting job than Finn Jones, but the LC character is kind of boring and a lot of the story and supporting acting in LC was downright terrible.

I honestly think DD is far above the other 3 and JJ is slightly above LC and IF, and I'm willing to bet The Punisher will be about on DD's level.

Imo, it's not even close, DD is the best show. JJ is 2nd. But like somebody said watch them in order. Hopefully, the Defenders kicks ass because lately the shows are on a downward trend

Total set-up episode, the 4 star characters don't even meet one another. U just more or less get a re-introduction to all the main characters and their supporting cast. We also meet Sigourney Weavers character and get a little bit of her motivations. But, my interest is piqued and I will probably binge watch all 8 episodes 2day and into 2morrow. Next time, I post I will use the spoiler tag, I didn't think it was warranted yet. If any of u all disagree, sorry, but I don't see why u would. I loved both seasons of Daredevil and Jessica Jones' one season, although I thought Iron Fist and Luke Cage were not quite as good, I still enjoyed them. Plus, I've been a big fan of DD and the Power-Man(Cage) and Iron Fist comics for over 30 years and Alias(JJ's comic) since it first came out, so I may be biased, but I'm expecting a great series

Thought it sucked and was pretty much unnecessary. The best part was watching the small Punisher clip after the finale credits.
