I just found records from Pennsylvania that in 1912 that stated that 140 children died out of every 1,000 births before they were 28 days old. They used a 28 day cutoff for neonatal death records. That was 1912, not 1850.

Most children were born at home back then, and all types of diseases claimed them.

Good to see you, '72, and AV123 settled that for everyone. Because 3 old(er?) white dudes have, quite literally, never had any reason to be threatened by them. Unless you're Jewish, but that became a little less of a problem 82 years ago.

As for antifa, there's a right and wrong way to go about change. They're going about it wrong. Seem to be a bunch of pissed off anarchist. Calm down, take off the masks, state what it is you believe publicly and peacefully. I know I'll catch sh|t for this, but if Kaepernick hadn't been a dumb ass walking around in a Castro shirt and pig socks, I think he could've done some good. He caught way too much hell for kneeling, IMO. On the football field, I take kneeling as the ultimate sign of respect. Remember when Inky Johnson went down? What was every person, from both teams, on the field doing? Kneeling. Players score, they kneel in prayer to give thanks to their God. He wasn't hamming it up, being blatantly disrespectful. He just kneeled.

Not to be combative, you might see from my post history, numbers fascinate me in discussions like this. Obviously not all who were still alive attended the reunion. What would y'all think that 53k would be as a percentage of survivors? A quarter? Less?
