HBO's "Game of Thrones"

Beric Dondarion was engaged to Allyria Dayne who is Arther Dayne' sister. Edric Dayne Lord of Starfall and head of House Dayne is Dondarion squire. In the books, Dondarion has killed for the third and final time about a season ago. But the show has kept him around and apparently Dawn was seen in last weeks episode.

Yes, in the books Edric is Beric's squire, I thought he had been killed 6 times and the 7th was the final time. Edric told Arya in the books that Jon Snow and him were milk or nurse brothers, if I remember correctly. Starting to make sense that the Lightning Lord could have "Dawn"

I rewatched after reading comments, and Beric's sword actually has a straight crossguard, not the curved one of Dawn.

U have better eyes than me kd. I can't tell either way. Btw, kd, The Bi.... I mean Mrs. Dog got kinda nauseated on the grey scale scraping to soup scenes, also.

U all know I'm just trying to be funny, I love Mrs. Dog and I'm lucky she keeps me around.

The GOT producers really know how to put easter eggs out there.

Still having trouble with the Euron story. Do we have an estimation of how much time has passed since Yara & Theon escaped vs the battle? I am guessing just around a year? I know that lots of this show isn't possible, but this seems like a big plot hole. They stole his best ships and then he was able to get 1,000 built that were even better? He also was able to sail from the Iron Islands to Kings Landing which I would assume would take months to do.

The Iron Born's ability to build ships was well noted. And the time frame for Yara and Theon to meet Dany and then travel to Dorne and THEN sail to Dragonstone is a little murky.

You guys take this show way too seriously. I have watched every episode and had to do a little research at the beginning to know who is who and the houses, etc but good grief. Suspension of disbelief. Live it.

I'm assuming that he didn't build 1,000 more ships. I have to think they had other ships than the ones that were stolen.

That said, it's a huge reach. I don't even think they have (or need) 1,000 ships now. Really, I don't know why they had him specify the number (same with Daario later in the season).

Also, as far as the time it takes to travel, you will have to make your peace with omitting travel scenes and just assume things are taking place over a long enough period of time. It was easier to do when the stories weren't connected. As they intersect, it will be interesting to see how they handle it.

If you think posters in this thread take the show seriously, you should check out the discussion forum on Westeros.org some time. You haven't seen anything.

He said "Build me 1000 ships and I'll give you the world". Don't take him literally?

There was enough time for him to get a full, ***** Eye makeover.

Is it pathetic that I'm a 43 year old man who is psyched about Jon and Dany finally meeting? One of my friends just told me it was. Kinda hurt my feelings.

Kick him in the nuts and ask him how he likes it. Not so funny when the situation is turned.

I don't get the "you guys take this too seriously" comments. What if someone said that about vols football in the main forum? They'd get crucified!

A fan is a fan (which is, lest we forget, short hand for fanatic).
