HBO's "Game of Thrones"

I really like "Last Kingdom" a lot, but not as much as I like "GoT". The thing that is disappointing about "LK" is that the seasons are like 6 episodes. Dude that plays Utran(sp?) kind of reminds me of Brad Pitt in the face. Isn't "LK" based on the true history of what would eventually be Great Britain?

what little i understand it to be historical fiction. the show is just all around better from plot to character development.

anyway. its GOT season. onward.

The mad king was in love with his mother and "had his way" with many women. Plus Tyrian wasn't attacked by the dragons when he went to unchain them. Just sayin.

I know the theory. It is a bad one IMO. Tywin would have thrown him in the ocean if he even suspected that was true IMO...but you never know...

Tyrion had dreams of dragons as a kid, which are suggestive. He had been obsessed with them from an early age, which is why he knows so much about their history. I honestly wouldnt be surprised if it were true. It would definitely give more meaning to the "You are no son of mine" comment. Plus in the books he has a different appearance, which gives more credence to the Mad King theory IMO.

"(In the books) Tyrion has pale blonde hair, possibly a mix between Lannister golden blonde and Targaryen silver grey. Tyrion's eyes are mismatched - one is green, and the other is black, which is a common sign of cross-breeding."

Every dragon has 3 heads... Dany's mother died giving birth to her. Jon's mother died giving birth to him. Tyrions mother died giving birth to him... Dragons are hostile toward any humans who do not possess at least some Valerian blood

Best theory I've heard on this.

Book logic I would agree with you. But the show has abandoned logic in favor of shock factor and fist pump moment. I wouldn't be surprised if Tyrian Targ is at least show true

As proud as the Lannisters are of their name there is no way he would do that. He would rather have it unknown than to be exposed for killing his own son.

I'm gonna go super nerd here for a sec. and cite the Aerys II bio. at p. 115 in The World of Ice and Fire where it clearly states there were rumors that Aerys II took liberties with Joanna Lannister during her bedding ceremony, which occurred in King's Landing since Tywin was Hand at the time. Shortly after this, Queen Rhaella dismissed Joanna from her service and Joanna left for Casterly Rock seldom to return King's Landing thereafter. At least in the books, it's apparent that if Aerys II sired any of Joanna's kids it would've been her first born and not Tyrion. There's better odds that Jamie and Cersi are Targaryens than Tyrion.

edit: Think about what Cersei did with the wildfire and how it mirrors some of what the mad king planned. Also, there are other known Targaryen twins and there's the incest angle. I think it's very likely that Cersei and Jamie are stepsiblings of Jon and Danerys.

Jamie will kill Cersei and then he, Jon and Danerys will be the heads of the dragon.

Ive thought about this angle as well. Makes for an interesting theory. What if Daenerys finally captures one of the Lannisters twins and sentences them to death by her dragon, but the dragon refuses to do it because it smells the Valyrian blood? That would shake things up for sure.

I feels like something is going to happen between Jamie and Cersei, but maybe later in the season when Daenerys forces are closer to capturing them. It could be that Jamie goes full Queenslayer when he realizes she's hatched some plan that rivals that of the Mad Kings'.

Joanna Lannister had not been in King's Landing for 3 years when Jaime and Cersei were born. And Aerys didn't come to Casterly Rock until after their birth. I think Aerys slept with Joanna before her marriage but no way in the world would Tywin stand for it after. All his kids are his

Same source I cited above states that Tywin would not have married Joanna if she was not a virgin.

I did not realize the three year thing but it is in the same bio. It also Joanna and Aerys II in the same place the year before Tyrion's birth it looks like my theory is shot.

Not altogether true..read the Dance of Dragons.

Which part? Are their caveats?

A non Targ was a dragon rider in the Dance. She was a commoner who made friends with a dragon through conventional means. Her parentage is unknown so some think she may have been a Targ bastard.

A non Valyrian I should say not non Targaryen.
