'18 TN DL Greg Emerson (UT commit 7/3/17)

So how exactly did your injury (dislocated ankle and a fractured fibula) happen? We were doing one-on-one drills, and they blew the whistle and I stopped. The other guy didn’t, and we hit the ground. It was like he was trying to twist my body to knock me down and fall on top of me, and he grabbed my legs. I fell and heard a bone snap. I didn’t really feel anything, but I looked down at my feet and saw my foot turned the wrong way. I knew for sure I’d broken my ankle.

So your prognosis was you’d be out four to six weeks? Will you be back in time for North Side’s season opener against Germantown? I hope so. I found out last week I don’t need surgery. I’ve got to stay off it for three weeks and just pray it heals quickly. I’ve got to hope therapy goes well, too.

With how people reacted that saw it happen, he is lucky to avoid surgery

Army Medicine:

Step 1 - Diagnose problem.
Step 2 - Prescribe Motrin, water, and un-blousing of boots.
Step 3 - Re-assess patient condition.
Step 4 - Repeat step 2 and 3 until patient is cured, dead, or unable to physically remain in the Army.

Funny. I used to take 3 800mg before a PT test. It certainly didn't improve the result, but it greatly improved how I felt doing it.
