Team 121 will get into reading the VN Football forum. Over the course of the season, the negativity will weight on their minds. By the second half of the season, they'll begin to lose concentration during games. If the Vols lose any games you think they shouldn't, well, it's all on you, VN NegaVols. Reap what you sow.

Let's see:
Last year it was injuries. Before that it was Defensive Coordinator, growing pains, O'line, inexperience, (although that could technically be growing pains) lack of talent, Dooley, better coaches in the conference, etc.. The excuses seem to go on never ending.
For me, I'm gonna bet it'll be either "we lost so much talent to the NFL" or "our QB play is terrible". To answer this question, I'm going to go with QB because it's not like we've been unloading the talent as we did in the 90's. So, it's going to be difficult for even the most ardent fans to claim that.
You younguns haven't been around as long as some of us old timers so, you might not have heard all that we have. But, it seems like a cycle that revolves.
So, Volnation fans, what do ya'll think it's going to be this year? Vote away.
i do not think there will be any. when i played sports some times you just get out played. every team in the SEC is well coached. the team with the best players will win most of the time. most years Bama has the best players. we are starting to change that. but we still have a long way to goLet's see:

TN. or GA. i hope it is us/Here's the real issue for Tennessee and about 5 other SEC teams. There's Bama then there's a bunch of wannabes clumped up at 8-4. The question is who is going to break out of that pack and truly challenge the Tide or at least stake their clear claim to being #2 in the SEC? Could be LSU, A&M, Auburn, Georgia, Florida or the Vols. All have their pluses and all have their deficiencies. My best guess is it will come down to who has the best QB play out of that group of 6. Heres hoping QD is the next Casey Clausen.
