When we lost, we lost. He would express how he wasn't happy about losing and that losing was bad.

I loved Spurrier...and I loved it when we beat him--but it was rare...and love or hate him--he spoke the truth!

His ability as a coach exposed his opponents' weaknesses in preparation and game adjustments. And when his defense wasn't getting it done--he went out and hired another hall of fame coach to run his defense in Bob Stoops (190-48 as a head coach).

Spurrier's teams rarely--if ever--were out-coached.

And his "zingers" would've been ignored and a non-issue if he didn't have the ability to just beat 'dat azz....

Most folks call that SEC swagger--and that all great players and teams have it....and the losers just get their puny feelings hurt about it because they lost....:salute:

Oh--and Kirby ain't no Saban, nor Spurrier......the last thing he needs to do is start whining after his first taste of being a HC in the SEC....

time to put the big boy pants on....

I guess you could say Butch "Curb-eee Stomped" Kirby in his house with that Hail Mary....can't wait to make him hella bitter when he goes 0-2 vs Tennessee this season.

And in the last 3 minutes UGA did the following...

- Throw from endzone when they couldnt block our ends
- Unsportsmanlike penalty after TD
- Kicking to best returner in league in Berry
- Being offsides on kickoff
- Not kicking deep
- No pressure on Dobbs
- Not having 1 out of 7 guys in position on Hail Mary and no one in front of JJ

Wannabes? Neither program has been relevant this century, let's face the facts both teams are nothing until they prove otherwise!! SEC east has been an utter joke and neither one of us can win it!!! And Tennessee doesn't value wins over UGA or Florida?

Again winning 2 more games against a team isn't owning themTennessee OWNS Vanderbilt....Both programs have been complete disappointments. And if the tiny little comment Kirby made upsets you then get your big boy pants on because that is absolutely nothing

You're half right. Ga is a joke and has been a joke for about as long as I can remember.

And what has Tennessee done this century? Both programs have been JOKES!!! MISSOURI has played in the SEC Championship more recently then either team, that says everything I need to know.

The difference is we've improved and plateaued out. You guys are on your way down.

Traded a solid 8/9 win coach for a Saban clone? Really? His coaching tree hasn't been successful.

What proof do you have that Tennessee is on the way up and Georgia is on its way down? Based on a single year? Where UT had a Senior QB and UGA had a freshman and still only had one more win? Kirby just brought in the highest rated class ever for UGA since they started keeping up with the rankings, As I stated both programs are disappointing until either prove otherwise!! We can't get win a horribly weak east!!!

We have been at our worst yet still competing with and beating y'all. I get that you don't think y'all are any good and I agree. What more do you want?

Even during our historicly bad run we have made it to Atlanta. Sure we flopped against Auburn, but don't put us in the same sorry boat as y'all.

You're 100% right, and displaying a good amount of football knowledge.

That being said.... UGA fans need to stop with the "We had a freshman QB" talk. Your 5* cannon-arm Freshman QB would have started for 90% of the teams in college football.

UGA wasn't hurting for talent last year, especially not in the skill positions, regardless of how badly Dawg fans want to believe otherwise.
