You are right. The ultimate problem with TN starts at the very top. $ pplYes they are but there is absolutely no reason Tennessee shouldnt be the exact same way, especially with the instate talent exploding. That's the problem, too many UT fans are fine with 8 and 9 wins. That's embarrassing to say the least. It's a big problem and I haven't exactly figured out why it's happening. Finebaum said it best today on BrAden and Fitz. I suggest listening to that interview.
Remember, you're a guest here. Even welcome folks on visas don't have the rights of citizens...
Spurrier spewed more than one cutting remark during SEC media days, long removed from the last gridiron contest. "You can't spell Citrus without UT" issued from his mouth in the post-season, months removed from the actual UT-UF game. Don't paint him pretty in hindsight, and when he does pass from this life, don't forget to toss visors on his grave. Do it out of a very real respect.
It's Tennessee and Alabama and then it's everybody else in the SEC. Alway has been, always will be.
Guess Kirby is struggling developing talent to get drafted.
Kirby replaced a guy who rolled out of bed with 9/10 wins per year. He is under considerable pressure.
Pundits everywhere are picking UGA to win the East this season based on the perceived talent. The draft explanation is nonsense - simply came down to Malone and Barnett leaving early while Chubb and Michel came back to school. Otherwise draft picks would be virtually equal.
The truth is UGA has no excuse not to be more talented than anyone in the East. If they're not, it's only Kirby's fault.
