There is plenty of evidence of Trump working with, meeting with and laughing, yes, laughing with world leaders. Has been seen with many of them. On video even. Including Marcon and Merkel at one point. Imagine that, him laughing and actually speaking to the two biggest "nemesis" in Europe. Shocking, I know.

I'd hope you weren't going to try for that "Jesus, I can't believe he's worse than VolProf" annual award, but you just went back into the running.

A BBC correspondent at the summit said he could recall no similar precedent. There has been widespread criticism on social media. Mr Trump returned a short while later to retake his seat between the British prime minister and the Chinese president.

Ms Trump did not seem to make any major contribution to the session on African migration and health during her father's absence.

I know it pains you when facts are presented, but this is low even for you. Now, could he have possibly gotten a more "senior" official at the table? Maybe. But...she's also a senior adviser to him, so I guess that's senior enough. And didn't you at one time make the statement she was the only positive thing in his White House? I'm too lazy to look it up, but I'm pretty sure you've said nice things about Ivanka before.

Could it possibly be that LG sees her as unfit now because it is a woman? I would have thought LG was more progressive than that. Maybe would have been better to have another white man sit in Trump's spot during his absence...

He sees her as unfit because of her last name...

And the fact that he's all about going with the political winds that think there's an opportunity to undermine her father (yet again).

Certainly not recognizing that regardless of how much screeching he does, how much nonsense he spews, the average voter just...does't...care. And things like this do far more to undermine his own cause rather than strengthen his side's position. The DNC still doesn't have a valid message to give other than "Well, we're not Trump!" And that's why they will lose in 2018 and again in 2020.
