Anti-Trump Hysteria and Silliness

Yeah, because Trump wasn't a big name or anything before he became President. Are you trying to say Time Magazine didn't realize that photo was in Trump's golf resorts before now?

Trump is a brand. Thats difficult for left wingers to wrap their minds around. Most weren't alive when there was a Democrat president who actually had a real job before being elected to the office so this is all new and scary territory for them.

I don't know. I don't speak for Time or know why they're fussing.

My interest here is

1) It's amusing

2) It does beg the question why someone who has been on real covers would post fake ones?

More interesting is what Trump put on his office wall, like the Playboy Cover, next to a posing "Christian conservative."

Even more of intetesting that CNN makes a big deal that Trump gets 2 scoops of ice cream and everyone else gets just 1 scoop. This sh!t is news to CNN.

Trump keeps calling the Russia story fake and phoney.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/grap...ion-hacking/?tid=sm_fb&utm_term=.4b80c92958c4

Early last August, an envelope with extraordinary handling restrictions arrived at the White House. Sent by courier from the CIA, it carried “eyes only” instructions that its contents be shown to just four people: President Barack Obama and three senior aides.

Inside was an intelligence bombshell, a report drawn from sourcing deep inside the Russian government that detailed Russian President Vladi*mir Putin’s direct involvement in a cyber campaign to disrupt and discredit the U.S. presidential race.

But it went further. The intelligence captured Putin’s specific instructions on the operation’s audacious objectives — defeat or at least damage the Democratic nominee, Hillary Clinton, and help elect her opponent, Donald Trump.

Obama also approved a previously undisclosed covert measure that authorized planting cyber weapons in Russia’s infrastructure, the digital equivalent of bombs that could be detonated if the United States found itself in an escalating exchange with Moscow. The project, which Obama approved in a covert-action finding, was still in its planning stages when Obama left office. It would be up to President Trump to decide whether to use the capability.

In political terms, Russia’s interference was the crime of the century, an unprecedented and largely successful destabilizing attack on American democracy. It was a case that took almost no time to solve, traced to the Kremlin through cyber-forensics and intelligence on Putin’s involvement. And yet, because of the divergent ways Obama and Trump have handled the matter, Moscow appears unlikely to face proportionate consequences.

This is why Trump is so afraid of this issue. As President, he has now seen the intelligence that Putin and Russia worked hard, specifically so that Trump would win. He has to know what that looks like.

Its going to come out. And that is why so many people inside the government have been sounding alarm bells about this, to the point they are losing their jobs over it.

Hey LG, did you not get the memo?

MANAGING PRODUCER of CNN saying the Russia probe is IN FACT better seen as a "witch hunt" than a justifiable investigation.

How will this get twisted?

http://www.cnn.com/2017/06/28/politics/us-france-trump-macron/index.html

US President Donald Trump has accepted an invitation from his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron to visit Paris on July 14, White House officials said Wednesday.

The Elysee Palace said Trump would attend a Bastille Day parade in the French capital as part of commemorations marking 100 years since the United States entered World War I.

"To mark the occasion, American soldiers will take part in the parade alongside their French brothers in arms," the Elysee Palace statement said.

A White House statement said the visit would reaffirm the powerful links between the two nations.

Well, a few of observations.

First, politics indeed makes for strange bedfellows. Macron's wife is 25 years older than Macron is. That seems antithetical to everything the Donald is about when it comes to the womenz.

Second, prior to entering politics, Macron was an investment banker. It could be that he will be the means to launder the Russian money back and forth between Donny or Kush, and Putin and Deutschbank.

To more directly answer your question about how it will be twisted, regardless of how it goes, I promise you that Trump will proclaim it to be the single greatest state visit in the history of the United States, he loves the people of France and every single one of them loves him right back because he is the greatest of all time.

I'll take paragraphs 2 and 3 as sarcasm...make that at least most of 4 as well.

I honestly cannot wait for the first Russia-US summit with Putin and Trump. Boy howdy, the media is gonna have a field day with that one.

At least Trump won't begin his state visit by bowing to Macron.

Nope, and I don't think gramps does, either. Maybe he didn't take his meds today?

[twitter]https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/880049704620494848[/twitter]

Dont even know what this tweet is referring to. IS he saying a news report said they dont pay internet tax and it is fake news?

I know back in the day you didn't have to collect state taxes when doing eCommerce. Now if you are located in that state you have to collect tax if a local makes a purchase. But if I buy something from a vendor in Tennessee I don't pay any tax here in Florida. Maybe he is suggesting everyone pays state tax? Who knows. I'd suggest you don't hang onto every tweet he tweets out else you'll be standing around with your Russian pants around your legs holding your tapes in your hands and wondering what happened..

I imagine you repeatedly mumbling this softly to yourself as your eyes are fixed on nothing in particular and you are methodically rocking slowly back and forth in your chair.

Lolololol

That's exactly what I was thinking as I read Maxine's post

Yeah, certainly not because the DNC ran the worst possible candidate they could and divided the party.

Never for that reason.

the worst possible candidate--only a southern male would say that. She was more qualified than just about anyone vying for the nomination on either side. The party was divided somewhat by the Clinton-Sanders contest but that is often the case where there is no incumbent from the party. Usually, in that case there are multiple candidates--and we saw that the Republicans had 10 or more. That the Dems had only two, and both pretty popular, did cause some divisiveness.

Let's see...who was the LEAST qualified in either side. Yea, that's what I thought. A bunch of bona fide Republican boobs always run for president, so in that sense it's not surprising that a massive, unethical boob got the GOP nomination. Sarah Palin? Bachmann? Santorum? Rick Perry? Huckabee? Ben Carson....Trump? Rubes, christian crazies and the plain crazy in abundance. To their credit, the GOP doesn't usually nominate a crazy--Romney is smart and sensible, McCain was old but OK, Bush is incredibly dull but professional and halfway honest. This time, however....the crazy popped out and he energized old angry white folk with his stupid demagoguery.
