Job gains in the private sector far outpaced expectations in May, payroll processor ADP said Thursday, adding to sentiment that the U.S. economy is seeing a rebound in the second quarter from a sluggish first three months of the year.
The private sector added 253,000 jobs last month, far outpacing Wall Street expectations for a gain of 185,000 jobs. Business services, which includes technical services, management and administrative and support services positions, saw its strongest monthly increase since 2014, adding 88,000 jobs for the month, boosting the overall service-providing sector to 205,000 net new jobs.
Not like Obama didn't expand that credit card bill...
:shakehead: Obama had to take aggressive measures to prevent economic collapse, with little or no help from the repubs. The credit card bill rose for reasons as different as night and day. It's time to close all the loopholes and pay the damn thing off.
Thanks for asking! I for one say it's time for the politicians to stop placing the burden on the m/c, our tax system is very regressive. It should be more equitable. Any attempt to balance the budget is always on the backs of the m/c.

They haven't attempted to balance the budget in 20 years. New social program spending is what gets put on the backs of the middle class.
No, politicians need to stop making tax breaks for every special interest out there. You complain about the rich not getting taxed enough. Guess what, Sparky, they get taxed just as much as everyone else. The problem?
So many tax breaks and loopholes and exemptions they end up paying far less than the middle class. And that's the problem right there. You can raise the taxes on the upper class all damn day long and it's not going to do one bit of good until the politicians stop putting in breaks. You can tax them at 90% for all they care so long as they have 75% worth of tax breaks.
This is something you and others that share this delusion of "raise taxes on the rich!" will never understand.
