Family member hasn't been convicted yet; only charged. They are awaiting blood test results. The charges will be dropped as soon as they are back, but family member is still out $$$, dignity, a night in jail, explaining to work that he had to take off for first court date, all because a police officer has the right to arrest based on nothing but his personal feelings.

Music video he made of the incident. Once they were inside the house, did they really need to kick in the back door, as opposed to just turning the door knob? Also, why did they go around snatching down the security cameras at the end of the video?

I looks to me like they kicked "out" the back door, it had a plywood cover on it, but yeah they're cops all decked out in their helmets, fatigues and body armor so they had to mess some stuff up.
I'm a pretty conservative guy, but this military style type of raid by police is getting out of hand. We seem to have gestapo style tactics for everything these days.

Im sure they seized the surveillance equipment. Kicking the door out is puzzling. The raid seemed orderly and professional.

Boys in blue seem to do that a lot. The problem is, our rights and freedoms are infringed when they do it.
