I'm here to help.

Pekka had an off game. It happens to the best sometimes. Game 3 in Nashville should be rockin!

Split the road games, that's the formula. Does suck giving up a 2 goal lead and giving up the lead 2 separate times though.

Yep. It's all the talking heads want to discuss. Nashville giving up a two goal lead.

Take at least one road game and win your home games. Works every time.

Gotta admit, I have never been a hockey fan and I really wasn't interested in the sport. But over the past few years, I have kind of begun to look at Preds scores and what not. Not really following that closely, though. But, this run by the Preds has been pretty fun to see happen. I actually watched the last game against the Blues. Something I haven't personally done ever. Am I starting the initial stage of becoming a hockey fan? I'll hang up and listen.

Forgot about 35, but they've got to do it in the game. Kirkland has got to step it up. And the position coach has got to step it up. Argument could be made that he's the worst defensive coach on staff right now.

Agree with you. I really like what I see from Bituli. Like what I see from Reid in his style of play in highlights and glimpses on spring. Kirkland has all the talent in the world but I think staff did him a disservice on his photographic memory stuff. He honestly seems to lack in that spot in terms of getting the team lined up. He needs to be allowed to just play/roam the field.

Interested to see A healthy Sapp if ever. Smith being back at LB will help that attitude. McDowell getting in better shape could be interestjng.

Hoping that some of the defensive quality control assts we brought in help LB play. I know they brought in a guy with AZ and Clev background but think they brought in another guy with some LB experience too

Same here. I knew absolutely ZERO about hockey a year ago. Now I'm beginning to get more interested and learn more about the sport thanks to the Preds.

Go to a game. It's unbelievable how fast the play is. It gives you a whole new appreciation of the game. And it is very physical.

Butch/Tennessee won't get off the hook from the national/local media until there's a College Football Playoff trophy in a glass case in Knoxville. The goalposts are ever-moving among the talking heads and beat writers.

Nonsense. If Butch wins the historically weak SEC East in either of the last two years, his seat is ice-y cold in both the national and local media.

I know the Knoxville Ice Bears are pretty good in their league level. I will try to attend one of their games. As for the Press I will have to wait until next year, but I am intrigued enough to want to go to a game now.

Just watched this Randall Cunningham documentary on NFL Network: https://youtu.be/5kxJumA6xv8

Just watch the highlights in the beginning. Its eerie how similar he is to Dobbs. Almost the exact same body type. Similar throwing motion and running style as well.

I was too young to have seen Randall when he was young but from watching this documentary, it seems as though the biggest reason Cunningham didn't reach his full potential in Philly was because he was more interested in being a celebrity than being a great football player. The offensive talent around him in Philly wasn't that great either and the coaching staff wasn't v very good offensively. Like Dobbs at Tennessee, Randall on the Eagles was carrying that entire offense on his back. We finally got to see his full potential in Minnesota at age 35 after he matured personally and was surrounded by elite talent on offense. I imagine if he was more mature early on and had better offensive talent around him, he would have been a first ballot Hall of Famer and won several super bowls. The guy was a one of a kind talent.

Josh Dobbs IMO has all of Randall Cunningham's natural ability and none of his personality flaws. He's not interested in being a celebrity. He's interested in being a great football player. He's also surrounded by elite offense talent in Pittsburgh and won't be asked to carry the team on his back.

After seeing this documentary on Randall Cunningham, I'm even more confident about Dobbs potential in the NFL. I expect Josh to be like 1998 Randall Cunningham for a majority of his career. He will be a perenial MVP candidate and go down as one of the greatest players in NFL history.

But you said Dobbs was terrible and can't pass the ball

Really nailed it on that draft prediction...

Some of us actually watched Randall Cunningham play...correction were live and managed to form our opinions. Super physically talented quarterback who went to Minnesota to be a backup...his wish. Couldn't handle the pressure of trying to string another starting season. Love how we get "educated" about Cunningham and Bruce Smith from a kid binging on NFL Films. It's like someone from my generation trying to school 50's and 60's era Baltimore Colts fan on Johnny U.

Same thing happened to me. Once you go to a Preds game in person, you'll be hooked. I'm still blossoming as a hockey fan, I only watch a few regular season games. I watch every second of the playoffs though, it's so intense.
