I drew my own conclusions, but swain broke down every play and why Dormady looked so good. His only point was that they are close. It isn't that Dormady looked great and JG looked mediocre. You have to consider the plays, the defense and other circumstances

Swain is bias to Guarantano so of course he will find a way to explain it that way. Both QBs played with the 1s. Q played the first series then JG the next two with 2a then 1s. Then q played with the 2s. Fair is fair. Guarantano looked fine just not as polished and experienced as Q. That was the clear difference. Offense can run more with Q as it should be able to right now. Plenty of time for JG to lessen that gap.

Its half of a strangely formatted spring game so there are no conclusions to draw other than QD showed great touch on the ball. I'm sure the race is close and will be right up to the week of GT. Jumping to any other conclusions is bumpkus.

That's not what he said. I'd just encourage everyone to listen. It was a guy who actually knows football, not a casual fan like me, breaking down film. His conclusion was simply that we can't say Dormady has locked down the job based on the spring game, tho he is probably ahead

I meant my conclusions regarding the coaching staff possibly showcasing Dormady. I didn't even say that is true, but wouldnt surprise me. Would calm down the hype about JG, would make he fan base more willing to accept Dormady if he does indeed win the job, and would also motivate JG to continue to compete hard for the job every day

Don't really care what he says. He has shown his bias in situations on Twitter. He will find anything to blame this staff for because they got pissed at him and his show with the stokes fiasco. He had no issues claiming guarTano would be the starter before spring and now trying to find reasons why it looks differently. I don't see how anyone can conclude anyone has locked anything down on a half of football or being able to come up with a stupid conspiracy.

A pretty simple explanation. Sometimes players make plays and sometimes they don't. Guarantano just happened to be in when Taylor was working an OT. At same time JG could have escaped those pressures in real live action. Q being able to run more formations/plays is a product of being in program for two years not coaches setting anyone up for success or failure more than others.

Butch is trying to win this year and doesn't have time for games. His goal that game was get it over with ASAP and avoid injuries

This just in:
According to Swain, in the qb competition, the hands-on Jennings cutout were larger for Dormady throw and the corner barrel was a quarter inch to the left. (Giving QD an obvious advantage, of course)

John Brice just said on 104.5 that QD was exceptional and possessed more talent than many QBs being drafted tonight. Said he has NFL talent and makes all The throws.

Have to do Hattie Bs or Princes. There are a couple other good spots but those two are the best.

Downtown Broadway will probably be a good time tonight with the draft.
