This makes up for the Griffin loss, and he's better than Griffin and has more SEC and "game time" experience and it keeps other Safeties at their natural position in case of injuries

Not trying to knock the guy or the excitement but one would think that if he's an impact type of player he would be entering the draft after being in college for 4 years.

He's a ball hawk when healthy. Injuries have plagued him a bit. He knows this is his last shot to get a crack at the NFL. I expect him to ball out and likely start for us at CB. Let's also not forget, having a former NFL strength coach should be able to help him out with his durability.

I live in Louisville and follow U of L. He more than likely will never crack the starting rotation. He never lived up to the hype here. Solid rotation or depth guy.

Wow, after 8 years you finally pull the trigger and make your first post! One of the longest streaks I've seen on here. Can't really think of a longer one.

He followed Todd Grantham from GA to Louisville, and I guess he wanted back in the SEC for his last year. either that or his graduate major wasn't offered there.

That and Bobby P blocked him from transferring to Miss St where Grantham currently is.

The big IF word if our DL is healthy his could be a top 3 or 4 defense in the SEC maybe the Defense can keeps us in games till our young offense grows we just might have a outstanding team come bama week.

Hopefully there will be plenty of coverage sacks for Phillips and Kongbo.

He started for Louisville his first year being eligible there and just got hurt this past year . Plus he started at UGA as a freshman , the kid is good and has a lot of nice intangibles.

This NFL class is full of d.b.'s. Wait another year and you may have less competition in the draft from other d.b.'s....
