I meant the pan rack, nice rack, wait..nevermind. lol. Ole Rach got some nice pans.

Glad your happy with it. Was looking at the other pic you posted last night. It really is a sweet set up. Not just being nice either.

Well, now I know what you think of mine. Lol. Just kidding.

Mine is coil burners. When I bought it I wanted a flat surface, but after minimal research, which was all that was needed, I realized the coil would better suit my purpose.

Mexican Street Corn Shrimp and Grits with Roasted Corn, Queso Fresco, and Lime Crema
Pretty sure it's the first time this Yank has had grits.

Careful, kev. Some folks in the southeast will bend your ear six ways from Sunday with innumerable arguments that grits are the biblical manna from heaven.

For better or worse, my griddle is an old, well-seasoned cast iron one. I love it. My other cast iron include a fajita pan, a dutch oven, and 2 corn stick pans. If ever I am disabled or too weak to use them as I am, they better have invented bionic sleeves & mitts to make it possible for me to continue. Bottom line, some things must be made in a cast iron skillet or dutch oven. Amen, and pass the corn bread.

Funny thing, the intersection of food and faith. All have my respect.

God's gift to humanity, free will separates us from God so that we may willingly seek God. I believe that it is also the root of the variance in faith and observance.

Without humility, there can be no true faith. To be humbled by the unfathomable immensity of God's creation is the condition for making a true act of faith. Humility makes possible the perspective and perception to be gracious in dealings with others. [To grasp my point, understand the difference between humility and penitence. The innocent may be humble. Sinners may be penitent and regain humility, balance, and grace through contrition.] Fasting during Ramadan, Lent, observances of the Sabbath, dietary restrictions - all may be understood and respected from a humble perspective.

Pride is listed among the seven deadly sins. I view sinful pride as being that which manifest as an irrationally corrupt sense of one's personal viewpoint, value, status or accomplishments. I believe that pride in another is inherent with personal humility and is not sinful. A parent's pride in their children's accomplishments and/or display of character is intertwined with contentment. [Do not confuse this with boastfulness of one's progeny.]

Well, my words fall short of the meaning I attempt to convey. Say a blessing. Amen, and pass the mashed potatoes. Please.

Amen and I'll take some taters.

I'm hungry after seeing Kev's pic. Do you use an actual camera or your phone camera Kev? Just curious cause they're always so good.

I'm hungry too after reading that soliloquy.

Hey mayo breath, for the third time, how did your chicken turn out? The main reason I would like to know is, I've never baked it like that and curious if it came out dry?

*Ive never marinated it in Itailan dressing then baked it, I've always grilled it.

Just in case it wasn't clear before, I wasn't questioning someone observing the Sabbath. I was questioning a manufacturer using it as a marketing tool.
