dickey might have attended some games back in the day to blow time, but ads don't have that much time nowadays. An ad popping into a nonrevenue sport for ~20 minutes unannounced is not a normal event.

That will be my last post on this topic though. Sorry, for bringing info to a discussion that posters were involved in guys.
😭😭

Jk man. Just ignore that clown like everyone said.

I am certain this offends many snowflakes. You should be ashamed.

Snowflakes. Quickly becoming the most annoying buzz word in this site. Everybody thinks they're tough and original calling people snowflakes. Smh

Don't necessarily disagree with you, that words just getting old

That's just it... NO ONE can tell you including the announcers which one was an ex coach what a foul is... it's like determining a catch in the NFL...

It's just a justifiable and arbitrary way to determine outcomes of games folks. We have seen holding, pass interference and the crap lousy targeting rules used to protect football favorites up close and personal for years.

I have to a... agr..... (oh man this is hard to say)........(deep breath)...... agree ...... with .... Bruin.

(Washes hands)

An AD being at a baseball game (or about any other game) is a common occurrence at many schools. And I'm speaking from experience.

It could be that the past AD rarely attended and Currie endeavors to be more hands on and actually attend non-revenue games, shake hands, etc. In fact, that's actually one of the "issues" some people had with him at KState, so that theory has some juice.

Anyway, you could BOTH be right.

See? Case settled.

You each owe me $150.
It isn't even anything to do with bruin's opinion being wrong or right, it's the way he goes about everything.

That's too far man, academic fraud is one thing but BBQ is an egregious offense.

The truth in this statement alone is enough to indict the NCAA for the corrupt organization they have been and continue to be. They are a disgusting bunch of slime balls.

The college sports wing of the Cosa Nostra.

... Really???

I am speaking as a member of the athletic dept, not as a media member. Him showing up for a little while IS odd. I hate to go there, but you know nothing of the situation of what would or would not be odd.

I planned on just dropping this, but if you are going to make personal attacks I'm going to set this straight.

*Currie showing up in the press box for a little while is not news, but it is-- most likely-- relevant to the discussion of Serrano's coaching tenure at UT.

Not bashing you at all Mock, but my take is a little different.
We haven't had an AD that actually cared about Tennessee sports since Doug Dickey.

If I were the AD at Tennessee, I would attend every event in every sport that I could. Don't care which one. Even the Hockey games. (Yes, I know it is essentially non-funded and a "club" sport).

My question for you: What was he wearing? Was it a suit? Did he have any Orange on? Did he look like an accountant or a fan/supporter?

Thanks,

:hi:

I'm dropping this issue. Bruin must be in the AD, and I just didn't know because there is no way he would tell someone else what is or is not an odd occurrence in their job.

Didn't know that me sharing-- what I thought was-- relevant information qualified on a fan site amongst friends qualified as trying to pass something off as news either.

My bad everyone.

*And I never said it was "news" was just Sharing info with fellow fans. You are the only one that has said something was news Bruin.

Nightmare situation:
Bruin is Currie

🤢
