ADs going to games isn't news. I am ashamed to think Tenn is putting out a future media member that thinks its news.

No way Helton or Burke are qualified to be the next coach at tenn. Not even close

... Really???

I am speaking as a member of the athletic dept, not as a media member. Him showing up for a little while IS odd. I hate to go there, but you know nothing of the situation of what would or would not be odd.

I planned on just dropping this, but if you are going to make personal attacks I'm going to set this straight.

*Currie showing up in the press box for a little while is not news, but it is-- most likely-- relevant to the discussion of Serrano's coaching tenure at UT.

You should be ashamed. But not because of this.

lol.

So it's news

Then it's odd

Then it's odd because he came unannounced

Now it's not news

You got all the angles covered lol

I'm dropping this issue. Bruin must be in the AD, and I just didn't know because there is no way he would tell someone else what is or is not an odd occurrence in their job.

Didn't know that me sharing-- what I thought was-- relevant information qualified on a fan site amongst friends qualified as trying to pass something off as news either.

My bad everyone.

*And I never said it was "news" was just Sharing info with fellow fans. You are the only one that has said something was news Bruin.

Currie showed up at softball too. Sounds like a new AD making the rounds showing support and getting some face time. JMO.

But but but was it announced he was coming?

If not it's ODD.

Where does an AD announce he is going to be attending a game anyway?

ESPN?
Sec network?
CNN?
MSNBC?
Foxnews?

He got you upset. With everything you know about his modus operandi. :hmm:

I've got Dodgers opening game streaming on my phone while at work, and just observed a rule change I hadn't heard about. SD intentionally walked the Dodger batter without throwing the four pitches. Apparently now they just give a signal from the dugout. I like it. Baseball is soooooo slow.

I said the same, but realized that he was talking about Sunday. Currie did radio interviews on Saturday for baseball and maybe also for softball. Mock said that he was back on Sunday to observe, which he believed was different than from his "first day on the job."

I don't read a whole lot into it, but it may be relevant that Currie thought it was worth coming back on his second day and watching a sport that may not have the same coach next year.

Damn I wonder if he had to slip in the back doors.

I am completely flabbergasted at how you can act like you understand a situation you know nothing about. I mean, I would understand if you weren't with me on my opinion about the relevance of him coming. But you taking offense to me saying that him popping in unannounced is odd blows my ****ing mind.

Look your op said that his appearance told us something.

That is poposterous to say an AD on the job for a few days attending a game means anything. Like I said he should have been at all three games. That's his job.

IN.MY.OPINION.

Yes, I didn't explicitly state that in the OP, but I quickly rectified that. ADs are incredibly busy people and they wouldn't show up at a nonrevenue sport two days in a row, especially after being at a game on his media tour already.

It was an odd situation. Could it mean nothing? Of course, since it was only my opinion that he was there to observe Serrano. But the "oddness"-- as in not a normal occurrence- of the situation is not debatable.

Ok.

With fb and basketball being in the offseason there is plenty of time for baseball. I would expect him At the MTSU game tomorrow.
