QD has thrown 39 passes in garbage time all while taking second team reps. JG has thrown zero passes. We literally have no idea what we've got with either guy. We have almost no information other than notoriously bad reporter info to go on. Just don't get how you can be so certain JG is the guy and QD is not.

Wouldn't be surprised a bit if Dormady starts given Butch's tendency to start older players that are less risky over younger and more talented players.

X 100. To be so definitive on one being amazing and one being garbage is getting out of control. Neither is garbage. People that have seen Dormady in consistent basis say he is NFL QB. People that have seen JG say he has the potential to be best QB on campus since Peyton. So how about enjoy the competition because we have some really good QBs on campus. Apparently McBride is no joke either from some guys on campus.

I'm not sure TK is better than McNeil. I thought that at the time but not sure now. TK has more of a nose for the ball but I believe McNeil was the better player while both were here.

You could be right. I feel like Kelly was better before he bulked up so much. Seems like he's lost a step or two.

Sometimes we think the backup is better because we see them in limited action. Everyone was hoping warrior would step up and take a spot cause he is an awesome athlete.

I remember him getting a targeting against Texas AM. Seems like he had a blown coverage against South Carolina. Coaches don't play guys because they know they are prone to making dumb plays like that which can kill you.

Fulmer used to say "freshman will get you beat" and there's a lot of truth to that.

I just wanted to defend QD a bit because everyone is thinking JG is the king of the hill right now without every stepping on the field in a game. It is QD's job to lose no matter what the fans think.

This may not be popular but if you think Dobbs was anything more than an average passer then you weren't paying attention in games. 10 yard outs over thrown by 5 yards, forced throws to JM when Byrds running wide open. Screen passes on the flat thrown behind Hurd, exposing him even more than normal. Love what Dobbs did for the UT but his footwork really became a let down in his accuracy. You can see the reactions during the games from JJ, TB, JH. I for one think the passing game will be an upgrade with JG or QD at the helm.

You must have Butch confused with Phil Fulmer. Butch has consistently played younger players.

I think Crowder played because of the comfort level that both QBs and coaches had in him snapping the ball in the shotgun. A centers first job is to get the ball to the QB.

Are Fant and Murphy the only players in the last class with academic issues? I know Murphy needs an ACT score and Fant still has work to do.

TK Jr. was lost early on. I went to the OU game in Norman in 2014, and he struggled. Smith has made some plays, so I see no issue playing him some snaps over Byrd. Byrd got some play.

Butch doesn't do it more than any other coach.

Crowder I agree with but as with someone said earlier he was the center everyone was comfortable with. The other are true freshman vs players who have been in the system multiple years. I'm taking experience knowing the system over perceived talent that will make more mistakes.

Have you ever seen him post anything where he was not 100% certain he was correct?
