I honestly don't know that much about the man. I just realize the candidates that would have to be passed up to get to him.

And I'm definitely not a Jones hater, and haven't even said anything about the chancellor. But something would feel 'not right' about having a HC, a Chancellor and AD all come from the same school. Maybe if it was some super successful program but outside of that, that's off.

If the BOT lets her bring Bohn with her from Cincinnati, that is so far beyond incompetent that I might lose my mind. And people really wonder why we suck at sports now.

I would Expect an AD to have a policy in place that makes his student athletes act in a uniform way for the national anthem. I wouldn't be for any AD that doesn't have that under control.

Colin Kapearnick is a steaming pile. There are plenty of ways to get your point across without messing with the national anthem. Move to Russia or Venezuela and experience that level of freedom then let's see how you treat our national anthem.

Eh. Seems like the beat writers at the pay sites have been dead wrong about every candidate thus far (we heard Blackburn was a shoo-in for months on end) as well as on the timeline for hiring which according to them was going to take place a lot sooner. Maybe they've finally gotten good info. but I doubt it.

I just don't think they're in the loop on this hire at all.

Smartest thing I ever did...I didn't even really do. I have to thank my mom and dad for that. I have some really smart, business savvy brothers and sisters.

Obviously I was smart enough to have the money, but not the desire to be the one doing the work with the money. My two older brothers run the companies for me (well compensated) and one of my older sisters runs my business. I have smart people I can trust doing the day to day business that needs to be done. I teach because I enjoy it. It's long hours and a headache a lot of times, but very rewarding. After having seen way too much death and destruction...I enjoy seeing the smile on a students face when the light comes on and you know they get it now.

^^^wait...disregard that. I hate everyone.

I would take this with a really big grain of salt. The 247 guys don't seem to have that much of an inside scoop with these matters. Historically, they've been very hit or miss.

Morrison would be a good get. He would also hire Fulmer imo. With the panthers Morrison handled no personel for the football team only handled money side and was well thought of. Imo he would be the perfect guy to bring Phil in to assist with coaching hires ect. Morrison is a home run who knows a lot of people in football.

I think what he's getting at is that a public university not allowing student athletes a form of protest or public speech could potentially be grounds for some sort of legal action.

I'm have no legal expertise, so IDK if that could happen or not. But I could see some interest group or another jumping at the opportunity for such a lawsuit if they had a chance.
