WR coach replacement

This is in bold because it is an important message:

Joker Phillips would be an absolute steal at WR position coach. He has extensive coaching experience as an OC and a HC. This, would by far, be Butch's BEST hire. He can be of great assistance to OC Scott and the entire staff. Mega hire if it happens

I don't know what we are yelling about!!!!!!

JOKER Had to resign Florida because he broke NCAA recruiting rules

That said, I'd say every coach has violated the bump rule at some point, but someone should tell Joker you can't take the recruit out on a date at a restaurant, sheesh.

Here is a list just my opinion though

Chris Beatty- currently at Maryland WR coach
TJ Weist- was not retained by Charlie Strong at USF was Butch's WR coach at Cincy
Chris Weinke- currently unemployed last I heard...former LA Rams qb coach interviewed for the OC position
Joker Phillips- currently the WR coach at Cincy
Kasey Dunn- currently the WR coach at- Oklahoma State

If we could sling the ball around like Oklahoma state does and keep our running game going, we would be pretty much Unstoppable!

I seriously don't get why everyone's clamoring for Joker. Look at his resume, sure, he's been a WR coach for forever with SEC experience and was briefly HC at Kentucky. But where is the success?

Coaching career (HC unless noted)
1988–1989 Kentucky (GA)
1990 Kentucky (assistant RC)
1991–1996 Kentucky (WR)
1997 Cincinnati (WR)
1998 Cincinnati (DB)
1999–2000 Minnesota (WR)
2001 Notre Dame (WR)
2002 South Carolina (WR)
2003 Kentucky (RC/WR)
2004 Kentucky (RC/PGC/WR)
2005–2009 Kentucky (OC/WR)
2010–2012 Kentucky
2013 Florida (WR/RC)
2015 Cleveland Browns (WR)
2016 Ohio State (OQC)
2017-present Cincinnati (WR)

Any one else think Charlie Baggett would be a good idea if we can get him ? Our WRs under him were really something

You should end your thread title with a question mark (?).
Otherwise, it looks like you have info on the replacement coach.

Well, following that logic. Trooper Taylor had our receivers doing a great job and the following year, he had both Riggs & Houston both rushing for 1,000 years each. Should have beaten LSU in SECCG.
think Trooper Taylor would leave Arkansas State???

TJ Weist - OC, WR coach, and passing game co-ord at South Florida. CBJ didn't bring him from Cincy, so why would he now?
Wes Welker - Offensive analyst with the Texans. Not likely to leave the NFL.
Kippy Brown - Retired. Enjoying retirement.
Dameyune Craig - Available. Why did LSU get rid of him?
James Coley - Georgia WR coach. Not likely, but has worked with Scott and might take more money.

Not my list, just names I saw on RTI.

I heard Robert Meachem was needing money.... Him and Denarius Moore could team up and turn our WR's into Men.

Admittedly, I have no idea why Craig wasn't retained at LSU, but I seem to recall there being an uproar and even a "boycott" of Ed O planned by some high school coaches over Craig's termination. I also think he did a pretty good job with LSU's receivers... I wonder if he could be a good in-road to recruiting in LA if CBJ hired him....

We should hire the Dallas Cowboys WR coach.

I think his name is Derek Dooley :p
