Most memorable UT game you have ever been too?

Been to many, many games but unfortunately the one game that I remember the most was the Memphis loss in Memphis. It was like a train wreck happening in front of you and you just could not look away. Everyone in that stadium knew that Tennessee was by far the best team and it just appeared that they were running in quicksand. Of course with replay now that never would've happened because the Memphis man's knee was on the ground.

1982 Ole Miss game in Jackson. This was my second UT game in Jackson, MS and the first time the Vols won in that awful town. Both times I went with my best friend and his family who were huge Ole Miss fans. I said nothing after the game fearing they would leave me behind.

!968 vs Kentucky. My dad took me to my first Vols game. I remember Charles Rosenfelter was All-American OL and the Kentucky DL was a bloody mess in his white uniform.

1974 Vols vs UCLA. Condredge's return after being knocked out in first half.

I have been blessed to have witnessed many great UT football games over the years. Here are my most memorable:
1985 Auburn at UT (Bo Jackson quits in the 2nd half)
1985 Alabama at UT
1992 FL at UT (Hurricane Andrew game)
1995 UT at Alabama (Joey Kent ran right to our seats in the end zone)
1998 Alabama at UT
1998 Florida at UT
2004 Florida at UT
2006 UT at Georgia (my first and only trip to GA.)
1985/86 Sugar Bowl (to me, next to the 1998 Championship, the best game ever played)

Most memorable? Man. That's tough. But I'll have to go with my first game. I don't remember much because I was 11, and it was against a no-body school, but it's the most memorable because I became a life long Volunteer fan because of it. It was my first college football game I ever seen. We had just moved to Tennessee from Alaska (where the only football I saw was NFL) and a local church member had an extra ticket. I went and will never forget how much of an impact the stadium and fans had on my experience. Since then I've tried to never miss a game on tv and two years ago I finally got my childhood wish to be able to see every home game with season tickets. Sure the game itself wasn't the most memorable game (it would go to Florida this year or Georgia last year) but the memory of becoming a Volunteer fan is forever cemented in my mind because of one game

1982 Home Win over #2 ranked Tide. I almost didn't go. The last game between them I watched was the miserable 27-0 drubbing in the rain at Neyland, so I was not confident at all we could beat them. Boy was I glad I went. The Bears last visit to Neyland. The goal posts come down and are carried down the strip. People are dancing on the flat rooftops of one of the buildings on campus. It was the wildest I've ever seen campus.

All games in Neyland are incredible, but your first is something special.

That Auburn game was awesome. Pat Dye said that was the biggest spanking they had. The final score does not show how bad we kicked their a. I was at that UCLA game also, should have won.

Bo is one of my all time favorite athletes, but he was a p****y that day.

Great game! That was back when you could target and hammer a guy all game. When he was on the field somebody on our D hit him every play, and when he got the ball, it was nail his butt. just awesome.

That 85 Auburn game is the possibly the loudest game I have ever been to at Neyland. 98 Florida game was loud too, but that Auburn game was high scoring and electric.

Our defense that day and all season was relentless.

1996 Alabama game. I was 9 years old and it was raining and we were down. I kept begging my Dad to leave and he told me we can leave but they're about to come back and win. Sure enough we came back and beat the tide 20-13. Also that was my first trip to hooters before the game.
