Yep. Thankfully in state is stacked. If he can land them he'll be okay

Yeah I think a lot of guys want to wait see how we do on the field. Butch is sort of at a crossroad at the moment. Needs to have a solid year.

If we can go 8-4 with a new QB I think it's a good season. That wouldn't be enough to win the East but that's very hard to do with a new guy leading the offense.

7-5 or 8-4 seems to be about right imo. Hopefully we can get a top 10 class and move forward from there. If he goes something like 6-6 and has a bad recruiting class, I feel like that wouldn't be acceptable.

Did anyone see where 247 ranked Tennessee the 18th best job in the country behind Michigan state? I think we're at least top 15 personally

This is a much better job that Michigan state. Good grief. Not many I'd rank above us, but the obvious Bama, LSU, Florida, FSU, GA, Texas, USC, Ohio State, and that's about it, and these are based on both history and recruiting hot bed states.

Making the trip back from the Big easy and actually saw a car in mobile AL with a Bama, Golden State and Chicago Cubs sticker on the back.

I looked, made eye contact, shook my head, then drove off.

Some of you have asked about the recruiting territories with some of the new members on staff.

Larry Scott will continue to work parts of Florida and be involved with all offensive recruits. Azzanni will maintain the same areas he has been working in recent years with Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia and Florida all on his radar. Robert Gillespie will continue to work the south including his hot spots of Mississippi and Louisiana. Walt Wells will handle most of Tennessee and work his contacts across the state. In addition, he will also have Kentucky and north Georgia (Old Mahoney area).

Defensively, Charlton Warren will handle north Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and parts of middle Tennessee.

Tommy Thigpen will continue to have Nashville, but have assistance from Wells and Warren. In addition, he will work the Atlanta area and a good portion of Alabama.

And as noted last week, Brady Hoke will work South Carolina, parts of North Carolina, New Jersey and the midwest.

Hopefully my nephew keeps growing and gets the right offers. Measured in at 6-2 260 @North Gwinnett. 15 yrars old and the strongest kid on the team as a sophomore.

Baseball Vols open the season with an 8-5 win at Memphis tonight. They are very young, but they do apparently have some quality pitching. I hope they manage to improve some this year so that Serrano can stay.
