I would like to take credit, but after the VQ guys said that Mahoney was disgruntled and to expect the "anonymous coaches" stories from 247.
Now Jimmy gets the tip about the guy who took Mahoney's job.
I feel less like Sherlock and more like Homer Simpson. Even I could connect those dots lol.
LOL...What does what I would do have to do with anything?
Yes, this is a public University, as such they are public sector employees paid, in some part, by the tax payers. This is information that should be known. Absolutely.
How it gets done is really tangential to the rest of this, but it should be done as a matter of policy. I'm aware it's not, and the University works it concert with local authorities to keep many things like this quiet.
If it had been a student-athlete, would it not have been all over the news? Why should a coach be treated differently? In fact, the coach should be held to a higher standard than the athlete.
Well the reason I think he wasn't held accountable is because if he was Joe Blow that worked at Walmart he's probably gonna be charged with a DUI and not get it dropped to a lesser charge. Also, most of you bozos, and I use bozos in the most loving sense, you would be pissing and moaning about Bama not holding people accountable if it was one of their coaches. Tell me I'm wrong.
So because you work for the state your arrest record should be made public? Just because an athlete would have had the story smeared all over TMZ doesn't make it right.
This wanting to know everyone's dirty laundry just makes your nose smell like doo doo.
Having a difference of opinion on DUI than you makes someone a hater? This is a non issue...to rational people. Obviously, though it is a big issue to the haters who latch onto anything negative so they can pile on,
Lane Kiffin wrecked a car while drunk with coeds with him. And left the car by the side of the road. It hasn't prevented him from getting a job.
Coaches are drew up humans just like the rest of us. Might want to think before casting those stones
A high profile athletic department job is a little different than a mail room clerk in the Department of Safety to be sure. But I do believe there is a responsibility to let us know is who is representing the school, yes.
I don't think a student should have these incidents splashed all over the media...Depending on the serious nature of the incident. It happens, without exception. Why should a coach not be held to the same level of scrutiny?
Check out my edit. But I will also add that just because it happens doesn't mean it is right. Its the clickbait media that has to tell us who got busted jaywalking or eating a steak on Friday.

Coaches are, just not Quality coaches. He's the OL coach now, and look what happened, his record got leaked.
In what world are coaches not held to the same standard?
