Excited to see what Quarte Sapp can do this year. I think he would have ended the season as a starter last season had he stayed healthy.

The real question from SuperBowl 51.... Falcons are up 8 with 4 min left one the 20. run, 15 yard sack, holding, incomplete pass...No points and punt.. Patriots get ball back with 2 TOs.

I honestly don't even believe butch could mess up that badly.

This was when being conservative and kicking a FG makes sense.

On 3rd and 1 early in 4th with a 16 point lead the Falcons not only draw up a pass but a long developing one. Sack fumble.

On the Patriots 27 with a 2nd and 12 they draw up another long developing pass play. Un freaking believable.

Then their OC gets a HC job after game. Dumb, dumb, dumb!
49ers should've fired him after that

I think there is a discernable gap between his actual coaching ability and his volnation-perceived coaching ability.

You may very well be correct.

Our VN experts on these things are 1) someone who works with NPA 2) Someone who works at a gym and 3) a new comer...a HS coach 4) Self proclaimed VN football gurus.

Nothing against these guys. Actually like most of them. The fact is, they are not D1 college coaches and the information they provide should be taken with a grain of salt (or, if you prefer, a grade of slaw). While it's good to get their perspective...it is still just their opinion. Personally I don't feel any of them know any more than my 45+ years of watching and dissecting college football on my own.

JMO of course.

Great insight.

Seen a USA today bracketology with the Basketball team in the first 4 against Cal. Wouldn't that be fun :)

The loss on Saturday really hurt their chances. I thought they needed to win out at that point, with the exception of possible losses at Kentucky and at South Carolina. Will be tough to make it in now.
