With a good secondary, the Titans would have been a top team in the league, one year removed from being one of the worst for several years. If they get a depth thread WR, a good secondary and upgrade just a bit in the LB rotation they are a legit contender.
Titan Up EB
EB's tag would be $13M - a lot of money for a safety. That said, I would be shocked if Chiefs don't sign the heart and soul of their team to a long term deal. Dontari Poe and Jamal Charles are more than likely gone.
I'd prefer he go somewhere he can win a Super Bowl. The idea is cool, but we need more VFLs with rings.
IDK, I think they might value Poe more. Good point on Charles, but cutting him doesn't give them the flexibility to keep both Poe and Berry, I don't think.
Chiefs have $4M in cap space and that's without Poe and Berry factoring in. As much as they want Berry, they are probably concerned about giving him a long term contract, given his age and that he's missed two seasons.
Cowboys have no cap space, as of right now.
Falcons have $24M.
Titans have $66M.
Raiders have $47M.
Steelers have $37M.
Packers have $31M.
Cowboys choke man. Titans made a good turn around this year. They appear to headed in the right direction, we will see.Is there a chance he comes back to UT? ? ?
Weird.
Seriously, I would want him just about anywhere but the Titans. This franchise is pitiful. I want to see him win. He won't win here.
He's not going to Dallas. He's not going anywhere but KC, but Dallas has less of a chance than not a chance in hell. The article said he just had his first contact with the team on contract extension a few days ago. Not exactly enthusiastic if you ask me.
Cowboys need a leader and a playmaker like EB in their secondary. Titans too.
