CBJ has got his plan, we just have to wait and see if he has enough talent to compete and if he can manage the talent to compete.

Maybe after 2017 we can put the, Is CBJ good enough to get us a NC?, questions to rest. One way or the other so we can move foward.

I, for one, appreciate you for that.

We have who we have and they're here for the same reason. To play football and compete to the best of their abilities to do it.

Maybe not every single one of them won the measurables lottery or found themselves the favorites of those who dish out the stars ratings.

But if they truly make an honest effort to play as one team, they can outperform anyone's expectations...even their own. :)

This. A 5* talent with a 1* set of nads will never cut it. We have a great roster if we can get people healthy and stay that way. Some of our recruits play a n big time high school football and he has break away speed and some thump to them on defense. I'm looking forward to this season. Tired of all the Crybaby Doodoos....I think this team will come together now that the "Me Guys" are gone. Buckle up and let's ride.

must say....one thing I can agree on with the the far...far....far right.....is that the man needs to STFU.

While I understand you really need to be positive....there is no reason to give the media sharks sound bite after sound bite....unfortunately, he seems to do that too much. There is a way to do it and not draw attention to yourself.

Be quiet, do your job, develop, coach and win a championship or two....then you can be as colorful as you wish.

I am one of the biggest Butch supporters out there but for the love of God someone please get this man a PR coach. It will be worth every penny. He is slowly killing our brand with every one of these and recruits pick up on it. Getting pretty ridiculous

EXACTLY. Got home last night from traveling this week, and asked my son how his practice was, and he said "I'm not real pleased with it...but I have a 5 star heart".

We also could have done a lot worse last season. App State, UGA, and even V Tech could have easily ended up in losses (we needed more luck to win those games than SCjr or Vandy needed to beat us last year).

Guess at the end of the day, he can say all the dumb things he wants, as long as the players buy in, and they win. I want Butch to succeed...and maybe this is more a statement about 5*s who left the team in mid season, and he thinks that's one reason they were disjointed at times and didn't have the team bond to pull them thru the SC and Vandy games...and he's still steaming about it.

All the things he says is always coming from a good and well-meaning place....but...I still have no idea why he opens himself up for this stuff...it's like he's got this corny narrative, and he's going to stick with it in the press no matter what.

We beat VT by 3 touchdowns. How was that win luckier than our bad losses? And if the VT win was lucky then what was the loss to a&m?

Listening to swain this morning. Fans and everbody is ripping jones. Swain said i dont know how all the butch backers can spin this, its just awful. Fans are tired of being embarrassed, me also.. i have penn state fans just ragging on me, asking me what the hell is doing, why does he keep talking? I just really wish butch would shut up, im personally tired of it..

Feeling the need to assign labels like that and create imaginary sides is a big part of the problem. It's simply lazy and counterproductive to having an actual discussion. The people he's trying to label "Butch backers" are actually UT backers. Of course that doesn't serve his purpose
