I hope you're right. Again not claiming a loss to any of those teams just saying it will be tough to win 4 of the 6 games I mentioned.

I won't deny that, except I'll be surprised if Florida is any good. They are losing their entire defense and I don't see any way they improve on offense, at least not that much if they do. But replacing that defense will be tough. It was elite and McElwain has not recruited at the level of Muschamp. I'm not saying we'll be great, but I think we can be with the Roster we have. Need to stay healthy and for the QB to be good and we can win

I don't think mcelwain is that good. I'm more concerned with UGA they return Michel and Chubb along with Eason. A good defense and they may be really good. At least it's at home.

Yeah they should be better and we don't have Barnett. We need Phillips or Taylor or Kongbo to step up and be an elite pass rusher for us

I really hope this years defense wasn't an indication of shoops time here at UT. He's better than that for sure. You are right.

If it is, he is the biggest fraud in the history of coaching. I don't buy it. He's been successful everywhere he's been.

Y'all are gonna take what CBJ just tweeted about this being a very positive year in recruiting and telling talent no to the extreme aren't you?

I think everyone will agree, not the class we wanted. However, we have a lot of talent coming back and can still have a good year, I expect the D to be good. Warren can be a big plus on the backend and the new S&C coach will have a big impact. I don't think this class is a death blow by any stretch and as long as we have a strong 18 class we will be good to go.

Hopefully the FF'rs will go home and things can get back to normal around here. We are VFL's so why not get behind the ones we have here and hope they develop into top SEC players. It never crosses my mind to get on here and complain about who we sign so I just don't understand the posters who get on here and denigrate the young men who chose Tenn..

If you actually believe all that crap you just posted, there is no hope for you. Anyone with half a brain knows the defense was in shambles because of injury. Get a grip and think about what you just posted..

Here we go with the we're gonna win 11 games this year and I wouldn't have let go of anybody in this class and we have elite talent on the OL and DL. Some of y'all must have amnesia because y'all are acting like we're not one injury away at DT from depending on freshmen or defensive ends to take their place. What did the OL do this year that makes you call them elite? All I ever saw was dobbs running for his life. Outside of Barnett there was never any pressure on the qb. Yeah I know this is negative but the truth is the truth. I really want cbj to succeed here because that means my team is succeeding but the proof is there, our offense is ok but our defense really sucks!! We really have a lot of holes in the secondary and on d-line and until they get resolved y'all need to pump the brakes on this 11 win season mess

Not sure where that was ever posted that we would go 11-1. The OL is there to be successful, and the running game should be good. I agree that the defense needs some work, but I believe Shoop and Warren will improve it.
