My take, Trump and team rushed and f-ed this one up. POTUS has the power to restrict entry into the country, only the severely uniformed would argue that but this order clearly went beyond that and was unconstitutional. Could it have been a play to rally his base knowing full well it wouldn't hold? Maybe but I doubt it.

I think It's mostly for show. Either a -hey, I did what I said I'd do- even though it won't hold. Or smoke and mirrors. There's something else going on. One thing is for sure EVERYONE is focused on this......

The amount of money the American taxpayer will have to pay to defend the Trump Administration over the course of the next, god forbid, four years, will be staggering.

May have to add a new section to the debt factors pie chart now. One labelled "Trump's Legal Fees."

Although I disagree with your wording, you are correct that Obama was too apologetic and too afraid to discuss radical Islam openly and to defend our Western values openly.

The problem, however, is that Trump is going to go way too far in the other direction. The result, which any intelligent observer can see coming from a mile away, will be increased insecurity here at home and for Americans abroad. Our intelligence sharing with Muslim allies will take a significant hit, as Trump's policies and rhetoric further alienate friendly governments of Islamic countries. Our domestic security will also largely weaken as American Muslims, historically far more assimilated than in European nations, begin to lash out much more aggressively than previously ever seen here.

Just be patient and watch it all unfold.
