Jimmy Hyams saying that it will be Fulmer as A.D. He said since they hired this search firm and search committee he still sees it dragging out and probably a couple other names popping up but he's confident Fulmer will be the next athletic director

Crap. That means Fulmer will not be the AD.

Bang bang! Get Blackburn to be the AD in waiting, and let's roll.

OL should be fairly stout next year. QB and RBs will benefit tremendously (as will Scott).

We return 106 career starts. Should put us around the top 10 in CFB.

Last year we had 71 returning career starts. Now it's more equally spread out with Thomas, Kendrick, and Robertson all having played over 100 combined games between just the three of them and 26, 19, and 34 starts respectively. Jack Jones and Chance Hall also contribute 19 starts.

In 2014 we had 6 (!) returning career starts, good enough for dead last in FBS. No wonder the OL was such a sieve that season.

QB play and Shoop's defense will be the key this year. Man I wish we had Dobbs just one more year. He really came along late in the season.

Offense will be better. IMO More big plays too. I would bet that Scott isn't nearly as conservative. I'm excited about him calling plays. 😊

For those interested, Cam and Dobbs had their measurements taken at the Senior Bowl today.

Tennesse #Vols CB Cam Sutton is 5110, 182, 828 hands, 2928 arms.

Josh Dobbs lean 216 and 6032. Looks like a volleyball player. Hand size 938

Dobbs is actually very ripped at 216 pounds. As an athletic QB lean muscle mass is more important than bulk. Thick bulk is more for pocket passers.

Not saying its a HUGE deal but thats on the small end for NFL qb hand size. Average is 9.6. Especially for a guy his height. Brees and Russell Wilson are both over 10.25 i believe.

Dobbs hand size is similar to Aaron Rodgers and Derek Carr. He'll be fine.

I tend to agree here. I think the biggest question will be if the QB is ready. OL play should/will be better. WR play...No change to better IMO. RB's in my opinion will be similar to Kamara/Kelly at the end of last season. If the TE position improves over last year, we'll be good/real good.

I agree on Scott too. He had the benefit of watching/seeing DeBord call plays last season and even think he had input towards the end. I think he'll be more aggressive in his play calling. He won't even really have to be a lot more aggressive IMO.
