Ask Behr anything food related thread

I feel the same way. I would like that. It sometimes is nice to carry the conversation on and that seems to wrinkle some folks' undies.

Behr's off topic bungalow
Behr's deep dive
Behr and Wylo: let us tell you why
Behr's bottom line
Behr and Wylo: both sides of the coin

Just a few suggestions...

:)

I think everyone would agree. One Behr thread is enough, and some would say too many. Haha. This ain't about me anyway.

I saw your post yesterday about your son being more of a "pumper" than Nega. I didn't comment in there, but would have in a Digression thread. :)

Ask away. Or create the digression thread. That would actually be fun. Could bring questions from other threads and answer them without having the usual crew jumping in.

Civilized!

"Sidebar" or "Digression" ? I know what both mean, but I looked up the actual definitions, just to figure out which would be more correct for the use.

What do you, or anyone else reading this think?

I'm gonna make another 1/2 pot of coffee, then start it.

Speaking of coffee. I'm not a connoisseur, but I like a good one. My favorite that can be bought at Publix and Walmart is, Starbucks Italian Dark Roast. It's a little pricey, but worth it to me. Fwiw.

Considering how unpromising they look in the bag, it's amazing the juicy pop of flavor they bring.

Do you have a brand you like? (I know, you probably dry your own. :)) That's another specific brand I can't get after leaving the Bay Area.

Before I make my coffee, it's important to me to comment further on this. In the best shortest why I can.

Just because I sometimes say " the best" or "my favorite" .....doesn't always mean that's how I always do it or what I always use.

If I were to have a dinner for you guys in this thread, I would spare no expense and use the best product for what I'm preparing. If Im using mayo, I would make it. Sun-dried tomatoes, make (dry)them. Butter, President. Salmon, Sockeye. Etc.

That make sense?

Not sure why my pics went sideways. But not really concerned either. Lol

I went through that yesterday, that's what my "test" post was all about. That's one, of several reasons I don't post pics.

I have several pics in "my album" in my user cp. I have them saved on a flash drive somewhere, but don't feel like looking for it. I've tried to post them here in a post, but it always ends in....wtf.

Everything about that is smart, IMO. Even the little piece of cabbage left on the plate. On purpose or not, gives the impression of it being "real". If that makes sense.

Green onions:)

I read January's blog last night. Fwiw.

If you ever think about it, tell 07 I said hi.

Edit: this is in response to the turkey wraps. You posted the other while I was typing this one.

Ryan says hey and that he is terrible about checking in with fellas here or elsewhere online.

Lol. Smart move!

Rawwwwwwr!

Yea, it's silly but, I don't like it.:loco:

I'm still in "food mode". Can't seem to redirect my thoughts. I'll get to that thread after lunch. Or, you know what the basic idea of it is, feel free to start it yourself.

That's cool. I understand that, I'm the same way with emails.

Would've liked to see his response to my attempt at my "Jesup" speech. Haha, kinda like the "master/student" thing.

Sorry, behr, more goat cheese.

Dude! And Dudette. Haha.

That's awesome! I could eat and enjoy that small amount of goat cheese and appreciate how its incorporated with everything. The Balsamic is perfect to offset the strong pungent flavor of the cheese.

Taste paring and aesthetically, I Can't say enough.

That plate is perfect too. IMO, no other color works better.

Forgot.

I'm glad she sliced the yard bird, nice to actually see how well, as in good, it's cooked.

I have friends who adhere to all three of the great religions of the God of Abraham/Ibrahim. Cannot be serving pork to observant Jews or Muslims, thus Mary's Little Lamb loaf. I don't know a recipe for a "loaf." I have made little ovoids of ground lamb & beef mixture, served them on a plate with pilaf and tomato-cucumber salad...
I'm baptist, I'll eat anything you wanna bring me. 😬

Yeah, I kinda left that wide open!

Yea, without being silly, there are some things I'm not interested in eating, like liver and onions. I'd eat it if I "had to", but I can do without.

I know some Mexican families that love Armadillo. I won't try it, but if asked, I would prepare it for them. Dressed and ready to cook, obviously.

Same with Foie gras.

Monkey brains. Ain't touching them. Don't care to even see them.
