What an a-hole. So let me state up front that I don't have a problem with the question. My issue is that it is so blatantly obvious that he is a partisan hack rather than someone interested in reporting actual news that might help improve relations within our government and civilization. He must have asked Kellyanne the same question a dozen times trying to get a response. And again... it's not that I have an issue with him trying to get an answer. But two things are obvious:
- in the grand scheme of things, the issue he is bringing up is so very minor in comparison to all of the other news that could have been reported
- can anyone give even one example of a journalist ever pushing this hard against a democrat? My goodness, if he would have been this persistent in asking Hillary about her emails then he might have some credibility.

First, yes, when that turned out to be false for at least some people there was a lot of media criticism of him for it.
Second, it's substantive policy. It's worthy of discussion and criticism of Obama. Trump's literal obsession with defending his ridiculous exaggeration of the size of the crowd, this just pathological need to be worshipped, is now way past alarming.
It's nuts how much he can't withstand just minor crap. He has to fight back over the most trivial of things. I can't believe he has the power to end life on the planet. He might do it, just out of spite.
We're talking about crowd size... not something that really matters and actually affects our country. Is this really the most important event that occurred yesterday?

Not at all.
The media were morons for focusing on it. Trump is an idiot for focusing on it. This is the next four years.

Out of 100 things that occurred yesterday, they ignore 99 other things to press Kellyanne about this?
The same can be said on any other given day. The media can pick and choose anything they would like to focus on any day and make hay about it.
Trump knows that the arch left thinks that they can prevail even though they lost the election. He knows that they will never stop, and that the media is on their side. Trump is aware that they have to be crushed. They have their marching orders, and that is to destroy Trump. It will be furious and incessant for the next few years.
I'm going to enjoy the show.
If Trump wants to bury them and expose their agenda for all to see, he will have to deliver on his platform and communicate directly with the people.

Yet, he is the President. Get used to it.Trump made it a story. That's going to contribute to his downfall. He refuses to let a minor negative go unchallenged and ends up creating a major negative. The fact that his inauguration was more poorly attended than previous ones and that the protest had more people than expected was minor and would have passed. His ego caused him to make crazy counter claims and he created a story where none would have been. They need to continue asking about it. Maybe then Trump will learn just to keep his mouth shut about trivial matters.
Alternate facts equal lies.
I am not ready to throw our American press under the bus for Trump facts.

Go back to the Iverson rant. The media doesn't have to go to Trump's level, either. Its happened before and it will happen again, but the media has been trolled on several occasions during the campaign running head first into stories and only made to look like fools later. My advice to the media would be for them to not take the bait all the time or at the very least, ask if an event is even newsworthy.
I'll ask you, is the crowd size at the inauguration worthy of being reported on? Does (or should) the average American care about this?
