Points taken but there is only 1 National Champion and they are riding the wave; so they aren't just kick our butts (program-wise). And I vividly remember a former vol Peterman leading Pitt to a victory in death valley. I guess Pitt kicked their butt then Pitt got beat by a 6-6 Northwestern in a bowl game.
So yes Clemson is on top but maybe we all should find some kind of optimism for our VOLS, otherwise we could miss the joy find only in the negativity. Who knows what the future holds with our program and these recruits. Hope for the best. Amari and Higgins may be a 1st rounders OR end up transferring to Colorado St. Did anyone see Jujuan Jennings becoming a beast at WR when he never played it in HS.

The narrative that Dabo is taking our top talent is extremely overblown. They got one. Amari isn't that good imo and was never coming here anyway because of his daddy. So dabo got one great player from TN. Meanwhile we have the best player in the state in smith, the best RB in state, one of the best in the country in Chandler, Gray, Fant, and many others this class. And let's not forget we have the best player in next years class already committed in Mays along with one of the best in Taylor as well. Clemson is not poaching our top talent

I'm sure the new ride didn't hurt. Not to mention not every QB is Boyd or Watson.

I doubt Dabo or any other head coach in football participates actively in cheating like that. Bagmen work independently of coaching staffs for the most part.

I despise Dabo and Clemson, but he's not stupid enough to participate in the cheating at that level.

Don't worry guys, tee is a vol lock. I gave him to free 8 count nugget cards from Chic-fil-a today. They are only for the Knoxville area, so he'll stay to get that free swag.

I think the general thinking is that Dabo is straight up cherry picking some of the best players Tennessee is after. E.G. they literally have two five star players that were once committed to Tennessee. And then they have the best quarterback/player in the country for 2018, who was a HEAVY tennessee lean for many months. It's not unusual that many tennessee fans are salty about that.

True, only one of those guys are in state tho. And with Lawrence, Vols shifted their attention to Jones. That was more our doing than Dabo's. Turned out to be a mistake.

Had Butch pushed for Trevor Lawrence, we would have had a commitment. Butch did not show Trevor the love. This is a Butch issue, not so much a Clemson issue.

Would Butch turn down the next Peyton Manning because he did not fit his system?
