The thing is that there had to be a good amount of fire to the Fulmer as AD smoke. Too many people were reporting it. Something changed. Not for the better, in my opinion. We are seriously going to mess this up so bad we will have choice except to hire Jon Gilbert.

I think he's pointing to the difference of working with pretty much finished products and working at the ground floor of a QB and being there for every stage of development.

He has lots of experience of the former, but not much of a track record of the later.

Playing devils advocate here....

Is it at all a positive that no outsiders have a clue what's going on inside our AD search. Maybe the Haney article has something to do with people being reluctant to give people info. I know my branch got email reminders of the university confidentialiaty agreement and media policy etc shortly after that was released.

Where is Diamond Dave during all of this? I would think since he is still the AD he would have a say in who would be his successor.

I get so irritated with how all of this looks, that I just sit back and laugh mainly cause did any of you expect anything less??? In the last decade or so, it's almost like they want to be the laughing stock of college football, they want announcers and the media laughing at us.

Guess bad publicity is still publicity huh?

No, he definitely has experience in both of those areas. He was the football director and head coach of IMG academy. He wasn't just sitting on his hands and not building QB's. Deondre Francois was one of his QBs at IMG who was a 4 star, 3rd best QB in High school and he is starting and doing very well at FSU.
