Why? Do you know her personally?

Of course not. But she has contemplated it before more than once according to her and others close to her. Her dad also committed suicide I believe and she said that she considered it after her last loss. She seems to be very mentally fragile.

What happened to Rhonda?

Straight embarrassed.

If she ever wants to fight again she should fire Edmond immediately. He has no business training a fighter at this level

That's pitiful. I haven't followed her but damn there's no defense, no stance, no technique, nada, nothing there. The other fighter doesn't appear to be that fundamentally sound. She has good reach and power but is otherwise raw. No reason any seasoned fighter should get whooped by that.

3 star fighter

That was after she was rocked & basically unconscious on her feet.

She didn't just charge in hands down not defending herself Lol. Not being a smart ass btw

point is he never became the go to WR with the Titans, and is now with Buffalo and has 125 yds for the season... Not gonna start a debate, but clearly Malone has one solid season under his belt and in my opinion needs another year to finish developing so that he has a longer career.

He can focus on football development 24/7 if he goes pro.

Another year with better numbers might improve his draft stock, but it's not gonna make a difference in his development. Staying in school one more season wouldn't have helped Hunter either. He'd likely have fallen down draft boards if he stuck around in 2013 because we didn't have a QB who could get our WRs the ball that year.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not justifying the losses. I'm just explaining them. I think those games would have looked different if we had been at full health, that's all I'm saying. It's hard for me to write Butch off when we were down so many key players. Heck, you could say we exceeded expectations given everyone we lost.

That's totally an attempt at justifying them. Call a spade a spade.

And they're simply inexcusable. Even with injuries, we were much more talented than those teams and all of the guys who played in both games had plenty of experience and time for preparation going into those games.

Overachieving with the injuries we had would have been meeting pre season expectations (9-3 or 10-2).

I know we had no choice his Freshman year, with everyone down, but if Dobbs only could have kept his redshirt that first season, could you imagine what he could do next year?

I have wondered about this. Fergeson/Peterman were here. Josh didn't even travel to that Florida game.

If he had redshirted, he may never have seen the field as a starter--amazing considering he is second only to Peyton.

Edit for bad spelling

So are you going to keep this up all offseason? That's the ultimate question. How many posters are going to feel it is their obligation to point out those two (admittedly) miserable losses every time something positive happens for the program this offseason?

I do believe negavols have a lot in common with whiny Hillary supporters.

At some point you have to move on.

I guess I like mediocre. We have won three bowls (how long?) Butch has turned the roster, we have beat Florida/Georgia in the same year and we are ranked.

I swore I would never take this for granted again, and I am not.

Yes, I would have preferred the SEC championship and the Sugar bowl. I do have enough sense to know half of our team was injured and it does change things. (Teams lose against bad teams for far lesser reasons) Dobbs had a horrible game during SC and he felt it was on him because he was studying for a major test at 2:00 in the morning. ( Imagine that? Our quarterback was doing school work.)

I'm supporting our coach. Hopefully we get Blackburn and needed coaching changes. (Strength and conditioning a must)

That's the spirit JCP! And you are not guilty of liking mediocre. You are what I call a reasonable person with level headed expectations that views this all as entertainment. You should never feel ashamed of enjoying watching your program overcome ridiculous adversity to finish a respectable 9-4, possibly the second best record in the conference.
