Dobbs' 2016 stats:

Passing: 2,946 yards, 27 TDs, 12 INTs
Rushing: 831 yards (gain of 1,093), 12 TD

He balled out this year.

Looks like Kamara is gone judging by his twitter. Looks like he's signed and agent, good luck to him!

Don't get me wrong. I'm not justifying the losses. I'm just explaining them. I think those games would have looked different if we had been at full health, that's all I'm saying. It's hard for me to write Butch off when we were down so many key players. Heck, you could say we exceeded expectations given everyone we lost.

Agree! What gets me is if any other team had the injuries we've had, everyone on here would be making excuses for that team or coach. Since it's the Vols many are just being unreasonable at least that's the way I see it..

Have to say being on the sidelines for this game was a great time. Hadn't been to a game in several years, but the fans came out and showed AWESOME SUPPORT. They were loud and if you missed the halftime show, the UT band did an amazing job on a representation of the state of TN.

Went from Memphis to Nash to Chatt and ended up in Knox. The program was one of the best I have ever seen.

Huskers were a worthy opponent, even without several starters, but the boys didn't let off the gas pedal and we fought hard til the end. Have to say seeing Barnett in tears shows how hard he has worked all year and through out his career. That dude is the real deal. Can't wait to see what he does at the next level if he decides to leave.

Butch made several emotional rah rahs during the game to keep the players hungry. He really kept the coaches hyped too. Was just an overall great time watching how everybody worked together today.

Hope it carries into next year

Dobbs finished the year with 3,777 yards of total offense. That is 18 yards short of the school record, held by Peyton in 1997.

Y'all read that twice, and let it sink in a bit.

Going to miss Dobbs a ton :hi:

I know we had no choice his Freshman year, with everyone down, but if Dobbs only could have kept his redshirt that first season, could you imagine what he could do next year?

If Dobbs redshirted in 2013, we are probably saying goodbye to Riley Ferguson right now.

Lol peasant sheep...... As opposed to you Royal negavols......we should bow to you because you can always find a way to pi$$ on the program even after a fun win.

Good job guys. Would hate for the fan base to just be happy for a few hours.

LOL.
A tip of the hat sir. I usually just skim over this crap and carry on.
Doesn't seem worth the hassle. But to actually question why they work so hard to bring down a good moment, that's too good not to give a like!

I agree that questioning someone's fanhood, seems a bit extreme.
But being honest, if you give a "LOL" to every bad turn and then appear to be in a foul mood for a win??
Aw screw it. It may not be volnation PC but if negative makes you happy and positive pisses you off, you're either a troll or just an a$$hole.
