While Kamara was underutilized at UT, it might be better for him in the long run.
Less wear and tear and was still able to show what he's capable of. Limited some injuries as well.
Hello friends, my wife and I were blessed to bring our baby boy into the world a couple of days ago. Unfortunately, he has been having a great deal of trouble with digestion. Signs point toward it being Hirschsprung Disease, which can be surgically repaired. We're here at Vandy so I have every confidence that he's going to be fine, but if you could keep this great team in your thoughts and prayers it would be very much appreciated.
Not smart on his part. IMO
Also wasn't smart to quit either
Don't take this the wrong way because I am pulling for him. He gave us two good years. But I get the feeling Hurd will never make it to the NFL. Not sure why but I just don't think he's got his mind where it needs to be. Clock is ticking now. Hope for his sake I'm wrong.
I don't think he was that underutilized at UT. He isn't an every down back. You have to get cute in how you use him. Not that easy.
Hurd was very good and played ahead of him for a large part but even today Kelly looked good as more of a protypical RB.
Fans love to complain about Debord not using him but I don't think it's as simple as handing him the ball and saying "go do your thing." You've got to be creative to get Kamara the ball where he's most effective. Easier said than done.
I would think he would want to get to the league as soon as possible.
He took a beating his first 2 1/2 years. Now changing schools. Changing positions. Sitting out a year possibly. Doesn't make sense to me.
