Very good news. The competition in the Jackson, TN area is just bad. They did play and beat Briarcrest (Memphis), who was actually a decent team, but the rest of their schedule was just bad.

He split reps with the number 1 DT in the nation while playing at guard and went 3-0 against Beal, ESPNs number 1 DE, while playing LT.

Looking at the depth chart, I'd say Trey gets into the rotation at guard fairly quickly. We basically have Thomas, Robertson, Boulware, and Jones between 3 spots.

One area where Butch has recruited well is O Line. The depth is outstanding and we are now able to redshirt guys which is ideal. Of course, guys like Trey can be the exceptional but redshirts are great.

Assuming Malone goes pro, I think the combo of Jennings, Johnson, and Byrd could be very good. Anxious to see L Williams too.

Edit: excited about Callaway and George could be good near goal line.

Offense should be setup well for a new QB. McElroy mentioned the other day that he really likes TN back up QBs

Just looked at Yankoff's page on 247.

That is pretty neat how they show the players on roster and year and other commitments for the schools they are interested in.

Probably been like that for a while, but I'm just being Jimmy...

I'm not. The Wonderlic thing was obviously a joke because RB's normally don't take them in the first place, but my point remains that the #1 thing that may hold him back in the draft is football IQ. He didn't play much here last year because they couldn't get him to understand blitz pick ups and offensive schemes. And we all remember the blunder against Vanderbilt when he ran out of bounds on 4th and 2 or whatever it was.

He reminds me of CP. Electric talent, but Minnesota is afraid to put him on the field because there's always a blown assignment or a mistake that's made. Hopefully it's not the case for the Local Trap Star.

Had you started with this it would've been a good discussion. This one made your point without demeaning the player.

It isn't a knock but I remember KMac dominating those as well.

Literally he was unblockable.

Different with OL. DL are supposed to win the one on ones. KMAC was simply stronger than anyone out there and ran everyone over. I can't wait to see what KMAC does when healthy. You either use 2 to block him or it's over.

What Trey is doing is special.

KMac has been fine as suggested. Takes on double teams and our run D is much better with him in game. People think tackles are supposed to have sacks like ends. His run defense has been pretty good.
