Regarding Perry: 247 reported his grades were fine this semester and he was back on track to regain academic eligibility.I'm a bit surprised and concerned about the "negative" reporting coming out of Nashville. This reporter suggesting that Vol fans are trying to get other Vol fans to boycott the MCB game. Where did that nonsense come from.
Also the sketchy reporting about Perry leaving. It was grades. I'm sure Perry's friends would like for everyone to think it was more of CBJ's broken promises regarding baseball. It was grades folks!!!!
On the heals of the Haney hit piece, Brice has been reporting some real negative things as well. Seems like the whole 247 staff has gone on attack mode against the Vols.
I haven't checked the Tennessean lately, but they don't need to bash the Vols since others are doing their bidding.
I know 1. it's been a disappointing season, 2. CBJ has said some really dumb things, 3. coaching staff has been disappointing/ underachieving, 4. UT administration just can't seem to get it right, and 5. much of the fan base has gone toxic. But UT is OUR SCHOOL. We need to get by this get mess and get behind our Vols. While I've been critical of CBJ, I do believe he cares for our program and our school. He is still very much a work in progress, but he continues to try and improve the program. I'm still reserved, but I'll support him and the staff at this point.
Sorry for the rant, but I'm sick of the backstabbing reporting and the fans on VN who continue to relentlessly attack anything and everything UT. Try being a fan for a change.
It's almost like Bama is a giant black hole and they're just swallowing all other SEC teams up.
Saban's legend is growing and no coach can compete, they're getting the best players, and they're just running through all other teams. And so no other SEC coach can get a firm footing and build something to challenge them.
And so the SEC is basically becoming Bama and then a few decent stragglers trying their best and failing to catch up.
Well I highly doubt he did enough this year to get a first or second round grade. Which means he probably gets the "go back to school grade" which is what he got last year so why would he want to hear what he heard last year?

100% chance that Andre Ware falls in love with at least 3-4 Nebraska players tomorrow. Probably their TE Carter, RB Newby, and a random guy on defense who will make a couple nice plays. He will also give the Vols zero credit for anything and get noticeably excited when Tennessee players make bad plays.
