Those are big losses for sure, but like I said, I'd be willing to bet they don't get to another Super Bowl with Kubiak at the helm. He was a career .500 coach at Houston, and if you take away last year, I bet he ends up a .500 career coach at Denver. Last year's championship had more to do with Wade Philips than Kubiak. I feel like they won in spite of him in some ways.
I'd be surprised if they ever get to another Super Bowl while Kubiak is the HC. He was a .500 head coach before last year and he'll be a .500 head coach going forward. He was incredibly fortunate to inherit the team he did last year.
Yep. He wasn't even a good coach last year. He was dying to choke it away any chance he got. His defense wouldn't let that happen. Then he got cocky this year thinking he could show everyone he could play anyone at QB and win.
